Chapter Thirteen

Luke's POV:

"Yes"
Our lips touched again as I felt fireworks go off in my heart. I placed my hand on Zelda's cheek and she put her hand on top of mine. We got down from the wall and got back into my dads car. We didn't want to leave each other, so we decided to tell Zelda's mum that she was going to Jamie's house for the night, but she would go to mine as my parents were away. On the journey back, I said to her, "You know what I like about that dress, it's that you don't stand out. And I like that because it means other guys are less likely to see my beautiful girlfriend and think that you're theirs to keep, because you're mine." She smiled and kissed my cheek, and I smiled back at her. We pulled up outside my house and I took her hand as she followed me down the path. I unlocked the door and we went upstairs to my bedroom. We lay on my bed playing Xbox for a while, and she was surprisingly really good. She beat me twice on call of duty out of the three times we played it. "I told you I was good at this game" she bragged. "Alright I get it now" I said in a moody voice. She knew I was only joking. We turned off the Xbox and I asked what she wanted to do next. "Well what do you wanna do?" She asked. We sat up and kissed each other as we were each pulled into a tight hug. It was the best feeling ever, to feel like you could potentially have someone in your arms for as long as you live. We lay down again as Zelda placed her head on my chest. I put my hands through her soft long hair as she lay twirling her fingers around my torso. We stayed close as I whispered into her ear, "I love you, and you're mine. You are the most beautiful thing on this earth and I want to be with you forever". "I love you more" she said. "Impossible" I argued. We got under the covers and hugged and got more comfortable, as Zelda turned away from me, and I put my arm around her. We both continued to stay close as we fell asleep.
