It's been a year since bell found us. We stayed as dogs but we actually grew. We are full size husky dogs now. And ben is fat and lazy still. I run with Scott on his patrols keeping up too. It's fun. But today the alpha king is coming to see Scott about him becoming alpha soon and that he has to find his mate.
My tail was snagged in some branches. I wined it hurt so much. I tried shifted back. But that hurt more. I howled. Scott responded. He appeared before getting my tail out of the bush then he sat there for another twenty minutes removing the knots and prickles. I love him so much. He cares for me. I yelped as the last prickle came out.
"How did you get caught in there?" he asked getting up. I looked at him. I was chasing a rouge. He had jumped at me and I stumbled back into the bush. "Come on. Lets get you home" he said laughing. We walked back to the house. He got me some stake from last nights dinner. I ate it calmly. Ben strolled in. He went to take my food. I growled at him.
'Back off Ben. Your fat' I said to him taking my stake and trotting off. He wined. I snickered. He chased me for the stake. I ran around the house. He was puffing by the end. I laughed at him finishing my meal before running up to Scott's room scratching at the door. It opened. I darted in jumping into the bed curling up. Scott looked at me. I looked at him tilting my head
"Alpha king in coming today." He said sighing. "I can't find something appropriate to wear" I barked. He raised his eye brow. I jumped up grabbing his half length jeans and a black v neck shirt. He looked at me weird. I barked. She shrugging going for a shower I lied down on the bed and closed my eyes. He came out after that in old cloths.
"Your having a bath too" he said. I growled. He came over picking me up. I barked and tried getting out of his arms. He got me in the bathroom shutting the door. He put me down.
"Bath time hunter" I pouted. I sat in the bath as he filled it up and started washing me. Being my evil self I shook my fur getting it all over him.
"Hunter" he yelled laughing. Bell walked in looking at me. Ben snickered at me. I barked at him before tackling him. I knocked Scott over tho. I let Ben go and looked at Scott. I wined. He laughed before rinsing me off and drying my fur.
"Gotta make sure your clean for the alpha king" he said brushing my fur as I chewed on a bone.
"Scott" his dad called. Nick. Alpha guy.
"Coming" he put the brush down changing quickly I ran down while he was changing. But my claws being to long made me slip and knock over nick and the alpha king. Scott saw.
"Oh my god hunter are you ok?" he asked running to me forgetting about his dad and the king. Ben laughed at me. I just screwed things up bad. Scott looked at them both. He went white. But the alpha king started laughing. I sat there next to Scott with my head down in shame.
"Oh you must be hunter. Scott's dog"
"She is" Scott said.
"Remember Scott you gotta keep their nails clipped or they slip around on tiles."
"I just bathed her too" Scott said helping him and his dad up. I looked up at the guy alphas. The power coming from the king was familiar. Way too familia. All well. I thought. Ben walked in covered in mud. He smirked at me. I hid behind Scott.
"Bell!" Scott yelled watching Ben closely. Bell came down. She saw him.
"Killer. No. Outside" she said. He walked out sadly.
"Shall we go into the study" nick suggested. They nodded. We all walked into the study. I lied down next to Scott's feet as they sat around a table.
"So Scott. Your mate. You said you first caught her sent from the dogs. The day bell brought them in. And she found them here". I looked up at the map with my front paws on the table.
"Yeah. We searched they whole area never found a trace of her sent again." It went quiet for a bit. I her Ben howl. I got down running to the door scratching at it. Scott opened it. I ran out and down stairs finding him in the kitchen at the top of some stairs. I titled my head
"What?" I asked. He went down. I followed him. It was the tunnels.
'Ben go back. Something's not right' he nodded. I looked around. 'Stay at the entrance howl if something happens to me'
'Ok' he said. I started walking. The feeling got worse. Than I saw it. The one thing to unlock my memory. A wolf. Ripping apart another husky shifter. I stood there frozen in place.
'Ben. Get Scott. And fast. Don't howl. Do what ever you have to do. Make sure the alphas come too'
'Alright' he said and ran off. The rouge saw me growling. I backed up. He growled stalking forward. I shifted back diving into a small opening in the tunnels. Than I shifted to my puppy form. I was just put of reach of the wolf. I wined and cried. I her a growl and rouge tackled out of the way. Ben's husky face appeared. He got me put and I shifted to my grown husky unnoticed. Ben helped me walk away from the fight. I collapsed cause the rouge had bit it as I dived into the hole. Ben wined getting Scott's attention.
"Hunter" he yelled running over. The alphas killed the rouge before coming over. I lied on my side Ben wining licking my face.
'Don't die Bree.' He whispered. I could feel my body shifting on me. Scott carried my up to the lounge room he lied me on the couch.
"I think Scott's mate is dead nick. I mean. He doesn't care on finding her indicating she's gone."
"Ok" nick said. I wined again from the pain. Ben pulled a blanket over me nudging my face.
'Bree answer me' he said.
'Ben. I remember everything' I said cringing. 'That wolf ripped apart our family. But our father. He is the werewolf king. But doesn't know it himself. He thinks we died.' He wined. I watched as he curled up on the ground next to the couch. My leg had been splinted by the doctor. Ben feel asleep. Scott walked out to get food.
"He's to attached to hunter to care about a mate. I think if his mate came along now he wouldn't care because hunters hurt" alpha king said. My dad.
"Your right. Her sent still lingers in the area but he doesn't notice". My leg hurt so bad. Scott came back and sat on the ground next to me. He had water and food. The doc fixed my leg and it stopped hurting.
