We set up camp at the base of a tree. Our sleeping bags were made of a thin, yet warm material. Good for folding and storing in a backpack. The sleeping bags were almost too small for Loki, which i found hilarious, but i knew that he would need something extra if we were to stay warm.

"I'm hungry." Loki groaned rolling over in his sleeping bag.

"You ate a huge meal at the palace just yesterday morning." I said sarcastically.

"That doesn't change that fact that I'm hungry!" He said.

"You can wait until tomorrow."

"Then I'm going to complain aaalll night." He smirked.

"Ugh." I threw a small packet of friend fruit at him. I hit him in the face. He glared at me and i just laughed.

"Meanie."

"That's me!" I kept laughing. I started to fall asleep. I had been asleep about an hour when something woke me up. "Loki?" Loki was still asleep. My stomach dropped. I could've sworn i had heard footsteps. "Who's there?" More footsteps. "Show yourself!" Nothing. My stomach was filled with butterflies. But they weren't the cute butterflies that i got when Loki kissed me, no, they were vicious butterflies with wings of anxiety. I nudged Loki.

"Good morning princess."

"Loki, there's someone here."

We never found the source of the footsteps. But all of the early morning both Loki and I felt like someone was watching us. Neither of us really realized how important it was to find the source, we blew it off. We should've paid much closer attention.
