Mercy,

Your father and I decided that you will not be staying over at the Potter's house this summer, or even during the Christmas holidays. Both of these holidays you should, and have to spend with your beloved and precious family members, not the Potters, who have no care for you and your well-being, unlike your family. We cannot be dishonored in this manner.

You cannot let this filthy and disgusting family connect or interact with you, as they have pure blood, and make no use of it. You were raised better than that. I didn't raise you to be an ungrateful bratty girl with little to no manners.  Being a death eater is an honor and everyone who is one is gifted and intelligent, unlike the Potters. Being a Deatheater proves your intelligence and makes you see things clearly. It brings clarity.

Your friends are all disgusting blood traitors and none of their families side with our Dark Lord. I'm trying to talk some sense into you, you poor child. You need to look at the consequences of your actions, because unfortunately they affect your family as well. We all know you are a selfish person, but I demand you to put the needs of your family before yours. Our status is going to get ruined, even Walburga Black told me so. I had a long talk with her, and she thought I couldn't turn you and your corruption around. I told her she would eat her words, and I swear, Mercy - if you don't turn everything around, you will regret it immensely. Do not befriend her son, Sirius Black either. He ran away from home and deserves to be burnt away from that honorable family. He is a blood traitor and frankly, disgusting.

You have more potential that that, and you have to use it for once in your life. Mercy, if you do not sever your link with that soulless Potter boy and his friends, I will have to take matters into my own hands, and I promise, it will not be pretty. The Dark Lord is unhappy to see you veer off the path of clarity, you stupid child. Cut any ties you have with him, or else, your friends will suffer as well.

Instead, we decided to send you to your darling aunt Vivianne, who gracefully agreed to look after you. She is quite young, but she can provide you with food and shelter, and most importantly, she is not corrupt. She has yet to join the Dark Lord's cause, but it means nothing, she will soon.

Mercy, please do stop going around this poor child Amelie's house. I do not approve of her. She is a mudblood! Did you forget that? She is also a little too liberated and free. And, in case you forgot, her parents are muggles, and it is a disgrace for us to see you linked with her. She is disgusting, and it's poisonous for you to have mudblood friends. It doesn't matter that she is in Slytherin. Sometimes even the Sorting Hat pmakes mistakes.

Think of your family before making stupid choices, or it's going to cost you more than a simple deprivation of going over to their houses. Keep in mind that we have eyes everywhere.

Goodbye,
Evangeline Malfoy."
