morning... chapter 4

I woke up still in Roberts arms and with Ava sitting on my head. I pushed her off and she scrabbled over to Robert and started licking his face. I laughed and picked her up. Me and Ava went outside in the garden until he woke up. "morning" i said smiling as i went into the room with some scrambled eggs and toast for him. I sat down on the bed and he kissed me. I had a shower and fed Ava and then gave her a bath. It was really hard she kept on splashing and jumping out. I gave up in the end. I grabbed a towel to dry her and went and sat down on the floor by the sofa i got out a calculator and a piece of paper and worked out what we needed from a food shop and how much it would cost. Robert came and sat with me "what are you doing gorgeous you already know money isn't a problem." i looked at him "no money isn't a problem. That's the problem, i want to make it so we can manage it and make sure we spend the right amount of money on anything we need." "ok babe anything you want." he replied as he hugged me tight and made me a smoothie. It had banana, grape fruit, coconut milk, and kiwi. It was amazing and i loved it. When I was finished i grabbed my book called 'lies we tell ourselves'. I got lost in the book for about half an hour. Robert walked over but I didn't acknowledge him. He tapped me on the shoulder and smiled as he pointed to Ava. She was bum shuffling over to her food bowl, whining at it and then running back. She did this about 5 times before coming over to me and cuddling up on the carpet next to me. I bent the page on the book so i wouldn't forget what page I was on and put it back under the table. Then i got up and started pacing the house. I was so bored i didn't know what to do. "Bella come and sit down sweetheart." I did as i was told. He put his arm around my shoulders and said I never did get you a present for your birthday did i?" i shook my head and smiled "well do you want to go out tonight so i can get you something and spend some time with you? We can bring Ava." i hugged him and agreed. Meet me here at 6 o'clock sharp and i will be waiting in the car, but for now i need to go out." he stood up and at the same time so did i. He picked me up and spun me around. He then went over to the coat railings we have and grabbed his coat before quickly waving goodbye. I slumped down on the sofa. Just then the door bell went and i ran to the door. I believe this is for you miss." a man stood there waiting to hand me a box. I took it from him and thanked him for it. I shut the door and got all my things i wanted to wear when we went out later. I layed them on the sofa and then stared at the box. What could be in it and why was it sent here? No one knew where i lived did they? I grabbed some scissors and opened up the box. A letter came out with some helium balloons that floated to the top of the apartment. I jumped back in shock. When i recovered from being attacked by the balloons i picked up the letter and unfolded it. "dear Bella," i read out loud "Robert sent me a new address for you today. It said in a letter that he had moved in with you. He sounded so nice and i am really happy that you are building a strong relationship together. I heard you were going out together tonight. I hope you have a good time. I would love to see you again soon darling i miss you. The balloons are just for fun but one of them says something on it have a look." i looked up and turned a balloon round to face me. In gold capital italics it said 'DAUGHTER, DARLING I LOVE YOU, FROM MUM XXX' i started to cry i really did miss my mum. I kissed the letter and carried on reading it. "you mean so much to me gorgeous but at least i can sleep better now knowing that you are in the arms of a good man. Talk to you soon and remember to keep me updated on things that happen to you. Good things and bad things. Lots of love mum. Xxx" i smiled and knew that tomorrow the first thing that i would have to do is write back to her to say i was alright and that i had a new addition to the family. Ava.
