better... chapter 9

Just then i felt someone shake me. I gasped for air. "oh thank god your alright. Bella i love you." someone hugged me and i remembered there scent. With Robert here i knew i would be ok. Everything was going to be alright. Someone told me i had minor injuries and that i should be ok. "you have to stay here overnight and im sorry but your partner will not be able to stay with you because we need the room." i begged the woman to let him stay but she said it isn't possible unless i go home and i wasnt stable enough to do that yet since they need to do overnight observations on me. "first thing in the morning i will give him a call to come here and all being well you will be able to go home." i sighed and knew that there was no reasoning to be discovered in this and i would just have to go with it because there was nothing i could do. We promised we will text like we would talk when together and i accepted that that was all i could do to feel close to him. The night was terrible, i was tossing and turning and no matter what i did i couldn't sleep. It was 3 in the morning which was good because in approximately 3 hours Robert would be able to come back but that was 3 hours to long. I wanted him now and even though i had never had this before i think i might have a bit of homesickness. I picked up my phone and text Robert "sorry i know you are probably sleeping but i cant. No matter what i do." i waited for a reply that was if i was going to get one. Just then i heard a beep from under my pillow. I sat up and shakily lifted my pillow to see what it was. 'phew' i thought as it was only my phone that must have slid under when i was daydreaming to myself about being back home safe and warm in bed with my lover Robert and my gorgeous darling Ava. I hated being here everything about it was disgusting. I grabbed my phone and entered my pin to unlock it. Sure enough there was the reply from Robert. I opened it and read in my head what it said as i imagined his voice actually saying it to me. 'its alright i wasnt asleep to busy thinking and hoping that you will be okay. I love you and will see you tomorrow morning. Ill wait outside even before i get the text. You'll be fine just go and get a drink of water, tuck yourself into bed and i will see you in the morning after you have slept.' i knew he was right and that was exactly what i needed to do. I text him back 'yeah see you in the morning i will go do what you said and try again to get to sleep. I promise. I love you too <3 xx.' he replied back and sent 4 kisses to me. I got out of bed and quietly creaked to get a cup from reception to fill up but there was none left. I knew that i wasnt going to be able to sleep unless I got a drink so i went wild and just drank from the dispenser. Then i went back to my room and got in my bed and tucked myself in so i was getting a little bit warmer but the duvet was like a piece of paper so it wasnt very warm. The next thing i knew i was awake and Robert was sitting on a chair beside me looking into my eyes. He said he had bought something for me but first i needed to get dressed into my proper clothes. I put some on and got discharged from the hospital.
