History?: Seji, The father of Yui, was just taking a stroll in the cold winter that is when he saw a small figure wrapped in blanket and thrown in the snow.

He found out that she didn't have any memories except for her name, Akemi.

Akemi then slowly got along with Yui but then Yui ruined her existence by telling her secret that she kept for awhile now.
