We started driving and I fell asleep red faced after about two hours. I didn't wake up to eat lunch or dinner, after all we were moving and I was depressed but it was only two o'clock.
The next morning, I woke up to donuts and boxed milk. I took a shower and brushed my teeth, then got dressed. I had really bad stomach cramps and a serious migrane because of the motion sickness and not being used to long drives in the. I got on my laptop to skype Sarah and then remembered that she slept late weekends and breaks so I got on the internet and played a few games. I got tired and went back to sleep. I woke up to the sound of horns honking and realized we'd made it to Missouri's capital. By this time tomorrow we'd be unpacked and settled in. Again I didn't eat dinner. My phone buzzed around four the next morning. I sleepily picked it up and read "We're here, unpack at six or earlier or... We'll unpack for you."
I didn't change, I didn't eat, and I didn't talk all morning.
I started unpacking. I forgot how beautiful the house was. It had three floors, if you don't count the fully finished basement and attic (which was the size of two whole floors and led to the roof top (which had a built in pool and bar with a grill and sitting area)). Each of us has their own floor, mom and dad downstairs, Shash on the second floor and me on the third. I got the top of the house because I helped dad build the pool and I cleaned up the attic and put the carpeting in and moved the furniture in. But that was years ago when we first bought the place. Now, I brought all of my stuff upstairs and unpacked. I looked around. My bed in the corner, my desk for school work, and dresser opposite of that filled with t's, tanktops, and shorts, and my closet filled with church clothes and dresses. I went to the bathroom and put everything away. Then went to the kitchen (each floor has its own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and guest room) to put all of my snacks away and my cooler under the counter. Then I put all of my stuffed animals in the guest bedroom because it wasn't like I was gonna have guests over anytime soon. Afterwards, I ate lunch and went to bed partially crying due to my pathetic lonelyness.
