It was late, I was tired and it was only the weekend of the first week of school. It was rough. Between being the new girl, and being tormented by my cousin Jasmine.
Today I was going to go grocery shopping for more food and some new bathroom supplies, then I was going to go to the bakery to try to get a job. To pay for some new clothes and any feildtrip fees that I wanted to go on. I had to pull weeds and water the garden, then I had to clean/dust the attic and fill up the roof pool.
Then I went to the bakers and had to fill out alot of papers. He told me to come back tomorrow and I would know whether or not I got the job. And then he said that I probably already knew the answer to that because I was the only other person to ask him for a job besides a single mom of four kids who had two jobs already.
So I went home and asked mom if I was allowed to go on a bike ride. Of course she said yes, and I left in a hurry. I rode down to a church that I do every summer. It's usually empty and I would dust the chairs and tables in the kitchen. Then I would clean the pews and practice my piano. When I showed up it was packed with cars and the church was cleaned up and painted. Of course it was Sunday so people would be there, but when did they open it back up? It sunk in. And I cried. U'd had many hiding spots over the summers but this was one no one knew about. I had to find another place but first I wanted to find out more about how the church opened up, later.
