FALL ANGELIQUE'S POV
The feeling of being alone means serenity. Although to others it feels lonely, but to me, I'm in my comfort zone. I don't need to put that big fake smile on. Being alone, means being myself. I may drown in my thoughts, but I can slowly find myself flowing.
"Please tend for the flowers for me while I'm gone, if you wouldn't mind." Mrs. Tina said as she tucked her gray hair behind her ear. I can see her kindness everywhere on her face, She's such an angel. I wonder why God didn't bless her with beautiful children to spread kindness throughout.
"Of course Mrs. Tina. That's a small job to do to repay you for the kindness you've shown me." I said as I stood up from the trellis on her beautiful blossoming garden.
She smiled, "Just call me Auntie, and please, You don't need to repay me. My husband always said, 'If you could do something, do it.' And when I found you, I knew I could do something. So I did." She laughed.
Three weeks ago, I didn't know where to go, I didn't have a place to stay. I had money, but it wasn't enough. Three weeks ago, I was regretting everything I did and I was so hopeless. But this lady in front of me, took me in, got me a job in her cafe business and treated me like I was her own daughter with no buts.
I smiled, "Thank you so much Auntie. If it wasn't for you I don't know where I'd be right now." I said, as tears dared to spill but I held them back. No matter how sick today's generation is there's still hope for all of us to change into something like Mrs. Tina.
You're taking her kindness for granted.
"It's okay darling. Poppy will be here any minute. I asked her if she could stay with you." She said as we both walked around the garden. She consistently smelling every flower her eyes lay on.
"You didn't have to."
"Oh please, Poppy was just like you when I met her. I know she knows how you feel right now. She has been working for me since she was in highschool, and now she doesn't want to leave the cafe." Mrs. Tina chuckled lightly. Poppy told me about how she ended up with Mrs. Tina after a few mishaps happened with her family.
"Aunt Tina! Fall!" I heard Poppy call out as she ran to us on her jogging outfit. A pair of leggings and a plain white tee with her headset hanging on her sweaty shirt. Still she looked beautiful and flawless.
"Oh here she is!" Mrs. Tina hugged Poppy shortly. Poppy having to go down her height level.
"I just went for a short jog, but I brought my car so I could take you to Ms. Claire." Poppy said as she wiped sweat falling from her face with the back of hand. I looked at both them, How can some people be so nice like both of them?
"So nice of you dear, but Claire will be here to pick me up. Oh, I'm too old but still they want me to go to that family gathering every year." Mrs. Tina laughed, She has that humour.
"Please take care of the cafe for me girls, I trust you." She said smilingly.

"Hey Fall!" I heard Michael yell from the back room, I never heard him call me Fall before. I snapped my head to his direction while I wipe the counter with a clean white cloth.
"Can you lock up tonight? Since you live in Mrs. Tina's which is just over there at the back." Michael said as he fixed his now red hair on the mirror. His leather jacket over his white tee shirt. If Michael wasn't annoyed of me, I would say I have a crush on him. But yes, Mrs. Tina's property was a huge one and on the front they built a cafe but on the back of the cafe lies a big country house with flowers all around it.
"Yeah sure." I nodded as I arranged the goodies on the counter. Poppy was still arranging stuff in the back room and Michael is all ready to leave and get his night on. Today we had quite the costumers, and I made mistakes twice or thrice but thank God Poppy was patient with me.
"I'm out girls, peace!" Michael yelled as he walked out the door, holding up a finger-peace sign until he got into his car. He left in a fast speed. I hope he doesn't get in an accident.
"The boys are throwing a party because they're finally together again." Poppy laughed, rolling her eyes as she put the last box in.
"Are you not going?" I asked, taking my apron off and the cute hairband it came with. I hanged it on our staff lockers, Poppy doing the same.
"Oh, I am." She smirked as she combed her hair and tied it into a messy bun, "I just have to get home to change. Do you wanna come?" She asked. I shook my head immediately, I wasn't one for parties and short tight dresses to impress boys.
"You should probably go, I'll lock up." I said as I put my cardigan on.
"If you say so. I gotta have a head start on make up." She winked before stuffing her phone and wallet into her shoulder bag, "Thanks. See ya tomorrow!" She waved as she exited the back room. Both Michael and Poppy were excited for the party, I don't even know why. Parties just play loud music and loud teenagers get together to drink or get down.
I got a little blue cup and poured coffee in it, mixing it with a slight amount of coffee creamer and sugar.
I have always loved coffee. First, They taste so bitter but if you put enough sugar it will taste better.
It's kinda like a metaphor on life. And it's my favorite one.
I brought the cup to the table nearest the glass wall and sat on the chair. The cafe was just in front of the sea, so I could see the bright moon and it's light being reflected by the sea. I leaned on the chair, as I took out a small notebook with butterfly and flower designs on the front. It needed a key to let it open, the key was a charm on my bracelet.
It's my diary. A diary is where I could say everything I want to say and not get judged. Everytime I write something, I feel alright. And I know it must sound crazy, but somehow it happens to just get stuff off my mind for a short period of time.
I put it on my lap as I took a ballpen out and started scribbling on it.
Hi, Today was really okay. I'm still so thankful that Poppy is so patient with me and Michael is not much of an asshole anymore unlike when I first took a step on this place. I really hope that Sydney will be a fresh start for me, no more things that happened in the past to haunt me. I am also very happy that I think I am improving on my anxiety because it didn't attack me for the past two days so maybe, coming to Sydney to start a new was a good-great idea-
I was caught shocked as my eyes darted to the pair of blue eyes staring intently at what I was doing. Two fingers tapping on the glass wall in front of me. Dirty blonde hair hidden inside a beanie, and a small smile making me feel butterflies in my tummy.
"Luke?"
