  "Don't you ever think of letting Yami breathe..." Joey huffed in disgust the next morning when Kaiba was being lovey dovey with boyfriend despite the worse visible bruise that was covered with a bandage, "First a bruise, now your cheek is bandaged?" Tea asked as she walked past them to her seat, "Well I can't walk around with a bruise on my cheek..." Yami said with a small laugh when Yugi walked in sighing heavily going over to his desk which happened to be next to the couple. The smaller duelist sat down leaning face first on his desk worrying Yami who pushed the brunette away who just made a face as Yami got up kneeling in front of Yugi's desk shaking Yugi's shoulder, "Yugi?...", "Hmm..." Making Yugi glance up to his twin revealing that he didn't get any sleep, "You look terrible... Didn't you get any sleep?...", "No, I was just thinking about something the whole night...", "Stress isn't good for you, you know." The other said making a face. "I know but this is really stressful..." Yugi mumbled, "Do You want to talk about it?", "No... I'm good..." He said simply before sitting up giving a small yawn, "...I see... Well I'll always be here for you if you need me okay?" Yami said with a smile despite his bandaged cheek ruffling Yugi's hair, "Yami.", "Eh?" Making Yami turn back to Kaiba who looked bothered, "Can we talk?", "Eh? But why class is about to start-", "Can we talk now." Kaiba said in a tone that made Yami quickly get up and follow Kaiba outside. "What could he possibly want to talk about right before class starts?" Joey huffed making a face with Tristan's poking his neck, "You sound worried~" He teased with Joey making a face, "He's my friend of course I'm worried!" With Yugi making a face silently following after the couple with Joey turning to Yugi's desk, "Right Yug!- Ah he's gone..." He said looking over to Tea who shrugged, "I was getting my textbook out so I don't know." She said putting her book down, "He probably forgot his book.". Yugi didn't find the couple worrying till he heard some familiar arguing that sounded like it was getting worse peeking around the corner carefully so he wouldn't be noticed to see the duelist couple arguing on the stairway with Kaiba who had Yami cornered against the wall, "I didn't push you away that bad! Besides-", "Besides what!", "I had to check on Yugi you know! Why are you taking that personal Kaiba!-" flinching when Kaiba raised a fist towards him shutting his eyes. Yugi who felt his heart stop at that moment when Kaiba's fist had hit the wall instead of his face inches away from Yami's face to see his other self open his eyes and look at Kaiba with a scared look in his eyes and tense up when the brunette pulled his hand away and pulled him towards him only to hug him, "I'm sorry... I overreacted..." Making Yugi shake his head and walk away quietly unnoticed back to class and not speak a word to his friends. "Hey Yugi you've been down since this morning what's the matter..." Yami asked grabbing his other selfs arm during the passing break to the next class which they both had, "...Don't you think you're in a unhealthy relationship Yami?..." Yugi asked pulling his arm away to open his locker and grab the book for that class confusing Yami at what he said. "I don't understand...", "I'm saying don't you think think you're letting Kaiba get away with a lot!" Yugi snapped making Yami back up and look at him wide eyed, "Yugi...", "I'm only saying this because you're all that I have left Yami..." Yugi said with a hurt look in his eyes before scowling at Kaiba when he walked over to them slamming his locker walking away hurting Yami a bit despite Kaiba being there, "Yugi...".

 







 "Where's Yami?" Tea and group asked at lunch time when Yugi came around without his taller twin, "I don't know, Probably with Kaiba." Yugi said with a bothered expression with Joey looking at Tristan questionably, "Did you two get in an argument?" Tea asked since Yugi didn't say anything, "No.", "...Oh... Because when I saw him after class going over with Kaiba, he seemed pretty down..." She said a bit worried with Yugi just making a face barely speaking a word. Kaiba on the other hand was trying his best to comfort his boyfriend was feeling a bit fed up when Yami wouldn't talk sitting quietly in his car laying on his lap, "What's was Yugi's deal earlier." The brunette asked getting to the point with the other making a face, "Do you always have to ask me questions every five minutes...", "Look. I'm not in the mood alright.", "And neither am I." Yami said quickly forgetting how quick to anger the brunette was. "I'm sorry I didn't meant to say it that way!" Yami quickly said sitting up backing away naturally from the other bringing a heavy sigh to the other duelist, "It's alright... I just don't understand why Yugi is being like that.", "He's just stressed that's all..." The tri-haired colored duelist said looking down with a worried expression till the brunette leaned forward and kissed him softly but deeply feeling Kaiba's hand go inside his shirt and up his side. "Kaiba wait..." Yami quickly said pulling from the kiss letting out a small pant trying to catch his breath seeing a bothered look on the brunette's blue eyes sensing his anger, "Now isn't the time for this." He said simply bothering the brunette more backing up and looking away with a huff hurting Yami more, "I'm sorry-", "This is why I cheated on you with Mai. At least she was always in the mood-" Kaiba said suddenly feeling a slap sting his cheek. The brunette put a hand to his face turning to see Yami with an angered look in his eyes before he dropped it at seeing the brunette look at him with a familiar look in his cold blue eyes before cowering back a bit with a paranoid look in his eyes, "I... I didn't mean to... " Quickly opening the car door and leaving the angered brunette never realizing that was going to cost him later on while Yugi sighed in satisfaction when he had finished his lunch. "I don't know why they give us so much homework if they never explain it!" Joey complained on with Tristan hitting his shoulder, "That's because you're too lazy to actually do it and you wait till last minute to start on it!", "Oh yeah!", "Yeah!" Making Tea put a hand to her face sighing, "Why I oughta!", "Now, now... If you two don't stop arguing both of you will fail that class since neither of you don't do the homework." Yugi cut in making both males gulp and look and one another as Tea let out another sigh, "Honestly...". "You didn't have to be so mean about it Yug!" Joey whined making Yugi sigh again, "Look, just pay attention in class- Ah!" The small duelist started but screamed when he felt a sudden hug and nudge in the neck from behind turning with a small blush to see it was Yami, "...You scared me... Weren't you with-", "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you Yugi..." Yami mumbled avoiding the other question worrying Yugi and company but never questioned it since he stayed with them the rest of the day and after school smiling as he always did.
