   ''Yami, I told you... But you never listen to me... You never listen to me...'' Yugi said almost sobbing when seeing his other self lay in the hospital bed barely breathing and bandaged up putting his hands to his face, ''I can't lose you... You're the only person I have left in my life Yami...'' Yugi sobbed wiping the tears that were streaming down his face hearing steps walk inside the room turning to see it was the doctor who just sighed. ''I'll be honest Yugi... He's lucky to be conscious right now...'' The middle aged doctor said looking at the clipboard in his hands looking over to the smaller twin, ''He took quite the beating, If you hadn't found him who knows if he would of made it. Do you have any idea who did this to him?'' He asked seeing Yugi make a face getting angry. ''It was-!''He started but paused when Tea and others ran into the room about to say something till Mai walked in after them making a face at her hinting the doctor stepping in before someone made a scene, ''That's not important right now, What's important is that he has friends here with him by his side right now.'' The doctor said before looking at the nurse to follow him. An awkward tension filled the room with Yugi still not taking his eyes off Mai opening hit mouth to say something till Mai spoke up before him, ''Okay, I get it I've caused these two problems in the past but now isn't the time for this shit. We're talking about Yami's life here so tell me Yugi, Who did this to him?'' The blonde asked in a serious tone arms crossed with a she wasn't' in the mood expression. ''Who else.'' Yugi said simply with the group speaking up, ''Kaiba?!'' They said in unison till Mai spoke again, ''I thought so... He always had anger issues, that's why I broke off our side relationship because I wasn't going to have that. Also because I knew what he was doing to Yami was wrong...'' The blonde looking over to the beaten duelist who breathed lightly in his barely conscious sleep.

   






''I've seen him with his anger... And I know he wasn't like that... I think Kaiba has anger issues...'' Mai said quietly looking down at Yami who was breathing lightly walking over to him making a face, ''I don't understand how Yami has put up with him...'', ''Because he loves him...'' Yugi said quietly pained. ''Love him?... This is tainted love that's what this relationship is!'' Mai said pained before putting her hand on her face holding back her anger she felt at that moment towards Yami at how blind he was, ''That isn't love...'' She said going quiet making Yugi feel bad for how he treated her knowing she was right. ''You're right Mai... But no matter what I say he won't listen to me...'' Yugi said quietly with the other friends feeling worse since none of them knew of what Yami was going through till now, ''Yugi... What do you plan to do if Kaiba comes around?...'' Tea said seeing a pained look in Yugi's eyes. ''He won't....Because I won't let him...'' The smaller twin said till the beaten twin spoke in his sleep making everyone look over to him, ''Kaiba...'' Yami said in his sleep stirring lightly with a pained expression from the pain he felt through his body hurting Yugi more who just looked down. ''Even after what he's been through, he still calls out for Kaiba?...'' Mai questioned painfully looking over to Yugi who just looked up to her with tears in his eyes, ''I already said why...'' He said breaking down with the blonde going over and hugging him to comfort him, ''I'll help you fix this Yugi, I promise...'' Mai said quietly.

   











''If I would of know Yami was going through that with the fucking rich boy, I would of punched him in the face when I had the chance!...'' Joey said angered about an hour later with Yugi looking down quietly shaking his head, ''That's not the rest of it...'' He said with Mai and everyone else looking at him, ''There's more!?". ''Yami told me a while back, he forced him to have sex with him the day after he slapped him across the face after they had an argument about you...'' Yugi said looking over to Mai who just got angered putting her hand to her face, ''You got to be fucking kidding me!...''. ''Yugi.... Why...'', ''Why didn't I mention it before?...'' Yami said with a heavy pained breath when the pain hit him, ''Yami, you should be resting.'' Yugi said with Yami staying quiet and looking over to Mai who just made a face at him but gave her a smile. ''...Mai....It's nice to see you...'' Yami said with a kind smile paining Mai, ''Yami... You idiot...'' She said before leaving to call a nurse to help Yami out standing next to Yugi as the nurse gave a shot to the beaten twin for his pain and help him sleep before a familiar brunette ran in the room making everyone look up, ''Kaiba?!''.
