The first thing I got home I went straight to the bathroom to get dress up.
I quickly informed my aunt and uncle that I'm going to a friend's party and off I went.
Soon as I reached Tammy's house, many people were there.
"There you are, Stella." Stacey said.
"Yea, here I am." I growled.
"Come join us and have some fun." She said as she handed me a cup filled with liquid.
"What's this?" I asked in a polite way.
"Try it. You'll love it girl." She uttered.
As I drank the first sip, it would kinda awful but then, when it was my second and third sip, it didn't taste that bad. I knew it was vodka or some liquor. Those are drinks for parties.
But I didn't really care much. Soon, it was my fourth cup, and my head was spinning. The vision was a total blur.
Then, there was a hand grabbing my shoulder.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" That familiar voice. It was coming from the guy, the only one, Stephan.
"Nothing. Just enjoying my moment here." I said simply.
"How many cups did you drink Stella? You know you'll get drunk and I might have to save your ass life later on."
I was furious and shouted, "Why do you care? You're not even my boyfriend or anything related to me. Can you just fuck off?"
"Stella, I know you're drunk but can you use your common sense? I'm just worried about you. I don't want other guys to treat you badly." Stephan claimed.
"Well, maybe you should go look for another girl to protect because I'm not gonna talk to you ever again. So back off dude." I shoved past him and headed towards the dance floor.
Here I was. Alone in the dance floor when everyone was dancing happily with their partners.
Suddenly, I felt both hands on my shoulder. As I turned back, it was a blonde hair dude. He looked cool and hot. Maybe.
"Hey" He said.
"Hi. I'm Stella." I replied.
"David."
"Cool name you got there." I said with proud.
"Yea. Yours too. Wanna dance?" He asked.
"Yes." I said happily.
As we danced in sync, both his hands was around my waist.
I, of course, groaned a little. Thank God David didn't hear me.
We swayed our bodies to the left and then right. I kinda starting to like it.
Without knowing, soon, his hand was slowly sliding under my dress. Ok this has to stop.
But he didn't stop, he just continued moving further in. I tried to tell myself calm down but then I didn't know why I couldn't. Something was stopping me to be.
As my first tear was about to come out, there was a blur. The next thing I knew, David had a blue black mark in his face. Then, I felt a hand gripping me and pulling me back.
It kissed me. It was a surprise kiss I may say so.
As I turned at that figure's direction. it was Stephan. The "Stephan". Later on, I wasn't that surprised and stunned anymore.
I lifted my arms around his neck as his arms go around my waist. Soon, we were like a thing. Something common.
And I pulled away, due to shortage of breathing, I said : "I thought you didn't like me."
"I didn't say I didn't like you. I just thought you were going to say I'm a playboy and all and..." My finger closed his mouth from continuing his sentence. And within a split moment, I kissed him on the lips.
"Thank you for saving me." I said.
It wasn't because I didn't want to kiss, but I was just too shy to kiss a guy on the lips. The most I did before was a kiss on the cheeks. Stephan wasn't shocked. Instead, he lowered his lips to mine, kissing me so deeply that the cold shards in my spine turned to warm tingles, rippling from the soles of my feet all the way up to the base of my neck. Even my frozen heart began to thaw. Every inch of me melted at his touch, became soft in response to his hardness, alive in a way it hadn't been the second before his mouth met mine.
What I could conclude from last night's party is that it was one of the best party I had attended.
