The last buckle tightens on my waist. Standing up, the weighty bag is slung over my shoulder. Stillness takes over the dim room like an uprising mist. The bed is neatly made, not one single wrinkle signifying stirs from the previous individual. All the surfaces are spotless, looking untouched but empty and wanting where. What will be the purpose of this space with me gone? I blow the candle out, evacuating the room without a single goodbye.

Down the creaky steps I go! Mother greets me downstairs beside my other sibling(s). She extends a mass of fresh linen wrapped bread. Gently taking the goods, I hug her treasuring what might be my last. She leads me out the door, but before I could go any further, Lord U/N greets me with a soft smile. My eyes travel to his side as something comes from behind him, revealing a glorious W/T.
"This is for you, It is one of our families most honorable possessions. It's been passed on for quite a few years now.. And I'd think that you would be the one to give it to." Handing it forward, my hands tremble at the slightest touch. It's slight glow enchanting every perfect aspect. I make myself look up from the treasure.

"I'll cherish it, thank you." He reaches out, squeezing my shoulder, "I know you will."

"Alright, come give this old man a hug!" Exclaims a voice. Father stands there, meters away from the gates. Grasping the item, it gets put away in my satchel. My legs take me in his direction in a hurry, without any thoughts he's tightly embraced. A vein of sorrow rushed throughout myself, engulfing my lungs as tears threaten their very existence, but with no avail, wet lines streak down my cheeks.

My breathing hitches, "I-I'm going to miss you.", gets blurted out, "All of you.." He chuckles. "We'll miss you too, especially a little someone." He gestures. "Y/N!" A reckless running B/N screams. Kneeling down, he attacks me in a tight squeeze. "Don't go auntie.." His E/C illuminating pure disappointment. My hands caress soft little cheeks.
"Don't you worry.. I'll be back bud." He sniffles. "Promise?" I smile, "Promise." He gives me one last hug, a tug comes from my hand. Reluctantly, he guides me towards the gates. We let go, the empty path lurks up ahead.
My body stiffens.

This is it..
