How To Be Yourself

We all are on a journey. We're all trying to find ourselves in the maze we call life, and we're going to hit some dead ends. We'll make some wrong turns. We'll find ourselves lost, and unable to find our way through the all these nasty turns blocking our way in this 'life maze'.

And it's going to be hard. We'll need to stop once in awhile, and really think about what we have to do. You can't just stop walking, sit on the ground and rot to death.

Everyday damn day, somethings changing be it your height, the length of your hair, the cells that keep on being recreated, your brain, your opinions , your personality is constantly growing.

Just like how you give food to satisfy your hunger, or drink water to quench your thirst, find the things you enjoy in life and feed that to your soul. Find your place in life.

And of course it's a lot more complicated than just those sentences but when you truly consider it, that's the key.

If you look at all the achievements and failures, good days and bad days, mood swings and perfect things what and who are you.

You are the person who has gone through what you've been through. You are the person who had to deal with the consequences to the problems that you've been forced into. But, you are the individual privileged enough to have some of those good things in life that many others don't get. You are privileged and you have suffered.

And suffering is easy. Recovery is what's the hardest. Some days drag on longer than others but this is what happens.

You are the person you want yourself to be. If you aren't the person you want to be, train yourself to practise those qualities which is easier said than done but eventually you build confidence in yourself.

You can't be perfect, but you can be you and if that isn't perfect enough I don't know what is.
