That Monday, we went to school, after spending the entire weekend with Troy and Chad, as well as Troy's younger sisters. I hadn't been surrounded by girls in that long, that it felt somewhat weird and comfortable, especially after learning that Lauren was a football player. I mean, come on, who doesn't love football!
Football is one of my many passions I shared with my brothers, basketball being one of them, along with soccer, but being the only girl in the house, means I was taught to do more than enough of girly things to do.
I can dance, wonderfully, I often do, I can act when I feel like it and I can sing, but that I don't do, mummy taught me how to sing and she's not hear to see me do it. But sometimes I find myself singing, along with the radio, in the car, around the house, in the shower, when I'm making food. Oh my god! I sing everywhere, I don't even realise, mummy would be proud, mummy's watching above me, she always is.
And with that, I ran downstairs, hopped in Logan's car and we headed off to school, with Corey blasting the music in the front seat and Jayden, Noah and me singing for all to hear.
School
We pulled up outside East High and my breath caught in my throat. The school was huge and packed with all sorts of people. I'm pretty sure, I can see a nerd talking to a jock and their laughing! And there's a cheerleader talking with a drama geek and she's on his lap! This school has no cliché's, oh my god! Yaya!
We got out of the car and immediately heads turned our way, I was pulled close to my brothers, when a few boys eyed me up, which responded with me glaring right back at them. My brothers are going to be super overprotective, seeing as they don't know the boys here other than Chad and Troy. Troy, he makes feel giddy at just hearing or even thinking his name.
"Hey JJ, who do we have for home room?" I asked Jayden, seeing how I know we're in the same class and have all our classes together, because daddy asked for them to be.
"Someone called Mrs Darbus." He told me, "our lockers are 356 and 357. Your 356 and Logan and Corey are next to you and Noah's next to me."
"Ana!" Corey yelled out all of a sudden, sending heads turning our way, as we all watched my elder brother dash across the school parking lot, to the girl in her beat up red convertible. Anastasia.
"Rey!" She yelled back and it was like, it was just them two in the parking lot, flying across to each other and meeting in a tight hug, then in a kiss, which I turned away from, I don't exactly like seeing my brothers kiss anyone, even if it's their long time girlfriend. Corey and Anastasia met when they were 4 years old and immediately became best friends, at age 11, Corey asked her out, after he figured out he liked her and now look at them now.
"Damn it! I wanted her!" A deep voice sounded close and I turned to see a footy player, already with girls hanging off him, yeah I guess he's hot, but not that hot, I mean Troy's heaps hotter. "Actually you know what? I want her." The voice said again and I found a finger pointing directly at me, well I guess I'll have to teach him a lesson. I looked over at Logan and he nodded, giving me permission to go show this guy how it's done.
"Hey dude, did you speak to me?" I asked, my seductive voice on.
"What's Ella doing?" I heard Jayden growl out, oh shit, probably should of asked the overprotective twin.
"Who's that? Your boyfriend?" The guy asked.
"No, just my elder brothers, who are very overprotective." I told him in a low voice.
"Ella!" Jayden shouted at me and walked over, his deadly look on.
"Hey dude, we're talking here!" The guy yelled at my brother, bad idea mate.
"Does it look like I care?" Jayden asked with his deadly tone. "No it doesn't because I honestly don't. Now what's your name, player?"
"Mason Green." Mason answered my brother, well would you look at that, he's already bowing down to my brother.
"And what year are you in, Green?" Jayden asked amusedly.
"I'm a senior." Mason muttered and with that Jayden chuckled scarily.
"I'm only a sophomore, mate, I'm also twice as buff as you, if you didn't notice and nothing scares me." Jayden said
menacingly, I think he completely forgot that I was here."You can't boss me around, I'm older than you." Mason finally spoke after a long period of silence, I felt like everyone sucked in a breath, waiting for Jayden to say something.
"Again, do I care? The answer: no I don't and I never will. I could beat you any day at anything, do you play a sport?"
"Umm yeah, football, I'm the captain."
"Riiiight. Well I'd like you to meet your new captain, Logan!" Jayden bellowed out and I knew where this was going.
"Yeah Jayden?" Logan asked, walking over here, him towering over Mason and me, not over Jayden, only Troy towers over Jayden.
"I'd like you to meet the now captain of the football team, you'll be taking over. Logan Montez meet Mason Green and Mason Green meet Logan Montez." Jayden said with his signature smirk gracing his features. Oh shit, I have a feeling where this is going. Mason may or may not hand over his title as football captain to Logan very easily.
"What year are you?" Mason asked menacingly, trying to intimidate my elder brother.
"I'm a senior, don't boss me around, shorty. I'd like to introduce you too these two, I have a feeling, they didn't introduce themselves." Logan said, sending Jayden and me a glare, as we smiled sheepishly. "This Jayden and Gabriella Montez, you might know them as their street names, Nightshadow and Arrow, toughest teens around." Logan told him and the terrified look that passed through everyone who was near faces, almost had me on the ground laughing. "So don't mess with them!"
"Nice talking to you, Green." I spat out, before turning on my heel, seeing Faith and Caleb with Noah, their stance was a protective one.
"East High! Meet the Montez's!" Logan bellowed out and then my deep chocolate brown eyes connected with a pair of blue ones, which held the confusion and mistrust through them. Troy...
