Oh my god. Have I ruined our friendship, maybe something more, because I didn't tell him that I was Nightshadow. I'm so so so stupid! Now I won't get to hook up with him!

You're probably thinking, is that all I think about? No, it's not, I just really liked him and maybe we could of had a chance in a relationship. But no, now he probably doesn't trust me!

Why does my life have to be so hard? I don't have a mum, my dads depressed, I have 9 brothers and the guy I like
doesn't trust me! Great, what's gonna happen next!

"Hey Gabstar!" A voice shouted out to me and I turned to see Chad Danforth making his way to me with a petit dark haired girl on his arm. She must be Taylor, his girlfriend.

"Hey Chaddy!" I answered once he got closer and he hugged me, spinning me around.

"Bro, seriously, how many times do I have to tell you, to not touch my sister?" Jayden groaned beside me, Chad put me down and turned to Jayden.

"I will never listen, my friend. Gab, Jay, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend and the love of my life, Taylor Mckessie. Tay-Tay meet Gabriella and Jayden Montez." He introduced us, placing a small kiss on her temple.

"Hi! So your the new boy with the basketball skills and your the girl who has Troy wrapped around your tiny finger." She spoke with a teasing tone, letting myself and Jayden relax.

"I guess..." I answered for her.

"Nice to meet you Taylor." Jayden said, offering her a handshake which she shook.

"You too. Call me Tay. Everyone does, except big head over here." She told us, nodding her head to Chad who just rolled his eyes in response.

"Uhh, sorry Gabs, but, umm, Troys a bit sad that you didn't tell him your secret and had to find out with all of us." Chad told me and I nodded, knowing this would happen.

"We weren't going to tell anyone, but Logan did." Jayden told them, wrapping his protective arm around me, hugging me one sided, knowing he was there.

"So where's your two friends?" Chad asked excitedly.

"Probably making-out somewhere." I muttered, so used to them not bring around.

"Oh okay. He'll come around Gabs. We've gotta go meet the gang, do you wanna come?" Chad asked us. I looked over at Jayden and he nodded in answer.

And so we left, to go meet the famous wildcat gang. We walked down the hall, the students parting for us like the red sea, leaving a path for us in the middle and then I saw a group, all crowded. But one head stood out the most. Troy, of course. Being taller than everyone has its flaws and good points. But one bad thing, he could see us coming. I was talking with Taylor about when I was in Colorado and how school was there, when we stopped in front of a big group. Chad was slapping hands with the boys and bumping shoulders with Troy, while Taylor was hugging the girls excitedly and hugged the boys in greeting.

"Umm, hi?" Jayden spoke up, from next to me. He was about the same size as Troy and towered over everyone, but I think Troys taller.

"Hi! You must be Jayden and Gabriella Montez!" A bright excited bubbly blonde stuck out her hand out, she was decked out in sparkly pink clothes.

"Yeah we are. And you are?" Jayden asked while I stared at them all in disbelief, Troy was their leader of the gang and they were all talking to me and Jayden! Outsiders, we were! Shouldn't they be glaring at us for lying to their leader.

"Well I'm Sharpay Evans, head of the drama club." She told us, I looked over when there was a blonde boy coughing in a 'what about me' way. "OK co-head of drama club with my twin brother, Ryan Evans. But I'm older remember!" She spat out at him and he grinned, pleased with himself. "This is my boyfriend Zeke Baylor, he loves baking, especially for me coz I love him and he loves me." She said in a giggly school girl voice, the tall black boy behind her, wrapped his arms around her waist and she leaned back into him. "This is Kelsi Nielson, quiet composer, my best friend and her boyfriend, whose a bit slow, Jason Cross. That's Bethany Tate, Ryan's girlfriend, she's a cheerleader, I know what you're thinking? How did Ryan snatch up her? I know, I still don't believe it! And last but not least, the boy you've already met..." She was cut off by a loud shilling voice yelling out.

"Captain!" And a boy who was about in his junior year came running over.

"Yes, Blake, what is it?" Troy spoke in a clear deadly tone, that had me staring at him.

"Sorry for interrupting. West players in the gym, looking  for you and the rest of us." He got out and Troys eyes darkened and his body stiffened. He looked over at Chad, Jason and Zeke when nodded, kissed their girls goodbye and they ran towards the gym.

"Oi Jayden! You wanna help? Seeing as you'll be on the team!" Troy called out to my brother who nodded, but before leaving he asked.

"Can Ella come to? I'm not leaving her alone and she can help." Jayden asked and Troy nodded quickly, obviously eager to get to the gym. I don't think he even realised what he was agreeing to, but oh well. Let's go fight....

I know this is really short, but I've already started the next chapter! I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile, school has been nuts! I've had test and assignments due for the past 2-3 weeks and this is first time I've had a break because I got my English assignment done in time! Enjoy, next chapter, I promise tomorrow!
