Chapter One : Seeing Him
First day already ? What did I do all summer ? Oh right . Theres the problem . I didn't do anything at all . No wonder it went so fast . I practially rolled out of bed at 6:05 this morning . Looking like complete shit . I'm not so enthusiastic about the first day and one reason why is because it's picture day as well . I actully decide to get up off the floor after 3 minutes of lying there staring into the blackness . I get up and turn on the lightest light in my room so I don't go blind . When I turn to find my full body mirror facing me , I want to run and hide . First off , my hair looks like I just rolled through a barn , went through a car wash , and got my hair dried with an old discusting towel . " Fuck my life " I mummbled as I walked to my dresser to find my comb . I waddle over to my iPod dock and find ' The Depths ' and click shuffle . By the time Austin said " Hey there pretty lady , with the swollen eyes would you show them to me " , I found myself at ease and half way done straighting and teasing my hair . I found my ' Austin Carlile Or Die ' shirt , finished doing my hair and did everything any other kid would do before school , I put in my ear-phones and walked to the bus stop .
On the bus I couldn't help but notice some kid wearing a Of Mice And Men shirt . To add on , it was boy . A cute one too . When I relized I was coming up to my school stop , I was going to pull the string but the guy reached up before I even thought about it . Is he a new kid or does he just live around here ? I got off the bus and thanked god for getting off that croweded piece of shit . I walked to the front door and got tackled from the back . " HEY KACIE " my best friend , Nina , yelled in my ear . I yelled back " HEY NINA " " Ok , that was in my ear " she said . " I know . Thats what you just to me so shut up and stop complaning silly " I said back . Then she caused a scene by fake crying and whining about how I just said shut up . You gotta love her .
When we walked in our class , I instantly felt like shit . People I hated were everywhere . So were the people who hate me . I found a seat and out my stuff down and got out as soon as possible . The bell didn't ring yet so I was good . I walked around a bit , saying hi to people I knew . The bell rang , so I thought I shouldn't be late the first day and ran . When I got back to class , Someone was actully sitting beside me . Some guy . I sat down and opened my binder . Sleeping With Sirens was everywhere . The kid beside me looked up when I opened it . It was him . That guy from the bus.
