Chapter Two : No , Not Again . Ok Maybe Just Once More

I can't believe this . It's him . His eyes ... Are a dark , perfect brown . Ugh , I want to look at them all day . His eyes , are .... Looking at mine and I'm staring into them ... GREAT . Good first impression . ' I likr your eyes ' sounds super creepy so I'm going to stick with ' Hi . Are you new ? ' Ok here we go . Awkward conversation here we go . " Hey , you been here before ? " WHAT THE HELL BRAIN . IS THAT A PICKUP LINE ? WHAT ARE YOU DOING . PAY ATTENTION DUMBASS BRAIN . He laughs and says " No , actully . Haha , I'm new here . Do you mind me asking you something ? " That was a unexpected responce . " Yes . Or , no . Or , I dont know which one is right so ask away " He laughed again . I think I'm doing good so far . " Since I'm new , I was wondering if you could show me around . " " I'd love to ! " Well then . Show the new kid around . Awesome . I can get to know him better . Maybe even get a new friend . 

So , I didn't even pay attention in class . It's him . Something about him . Oh god , the way his mid-length hair falls down when he looks down . His arms , holy sweet baby jesus , his arms ! Muscular . But not too muscular , just , a cute sorta i-want-you-to-cuddle-me-in-the-winter-and-hold-me-from-behind kinda muscular . He even had this .. tan . It was so perfect . Just like him . It was to good to be true . Black skinny jeans and low-cut Vans too . He's pretty much perfect . Wait , back-up . Remember what happened last time you had this feeling ? 

~ FLASHBACK~

Sitting on the couch , texting my boyfriend . Happy . Its snowing lightly outside and I'm all cozy in one of his sweaters he lent me . Next thing I know , I hear a knock . I get up and look out the window . HE CAME TO SEE ME . I run down the stairs to the door and fling it open and slam into him . I feel his arm slowly wrap around me , rubbing my back . " Come in ! You must be so cold Luke ! Want some Coffee ? " I ask , full of life and love . " Sure " He said . I stop . He sounds miserable . " I'll tell you over coffee . " He says quickly and jogs up the stairs as I follow . I go get some coffee and make sure it's pertfect just for him . " Be careful , it's hot babe " I said as i was handing him the steaming cup . He takes it genourosly like I was a stranger giving him a free cup of coffee . I sit down immedilently . " So , You wanna talk .. ? " I ask . He looks up from his cup and finishes his sip and takes a deep breath . So do I . " Listen . Kacie . I have to tell you something . " He says . A slight smile makes the ends of his lips curve up . I'm getting nervous so I start gripping my mug with everything I have in me . I thought he seen the panic in my eyes and his sinister smile slips away , very slowly . " It's important . And I want to get out before I see your reaction " My breath cuts short . My eyes are wide . He bows his head and sets his coffee down on the table . He gets up and heads for the door and gets his gear back on . I follow , closely behind him . I try to hug him , but he pushes me away . He mummbles something I didn't seem to catch . " What'd you say ? You mummbled " I say , trying to hide the unsteadyness in my voice . " I-I-I Uhm , I K-kinda sorta , well . Kacie . I cheated on you . With Abigal . And sadly enough , I'm not sorry . I'm happier with her . Oh , did i mention we're a couple now ? Bye . " He left and slammed the door behind him . I stood there , frozen to the floor . I dropped my mug . It shattered in to pieces on the floor . The rug obsorbed the left over coffee . Tears welling up , I ran upstairs . I went into my room and ripped off his sweater with tears pouring out of me like a broken tap . I grabbed my dads hoodie that he gave to me and slipped it on . It was dark and i had a fire-pit in my backyard . I threw Lukes sweater in the pit and got some logs and a match . I lit the match and threw it in the fire . immediently , It lit in flame . I sat out there the whole night crying . That's around the time , I turned to self-harm .

There's the bell . He gets up and waits by my desk . I grab my stuff and stand up way to fast and get light-headed . I stumble , knowing damn well I won't fall , But He comes and grabs me to steady myself . My eyes focus . " I'm fine . Got up too fast . " I say , Still a bit fuzzy . " I'm sure .
