*Beep* Beep* Precipitously the NASA's radars set up for the detection of extraterrestrial life catches some signals. In a regular routine, nobody enters that empty room because the scientists at NASA do not hope much for finding life yonder earth through that radar to any further extent. The beep went louder and louder. This was to mean that the detected object is coming closer and closer towards the inhabitants of this planet. A black man crossing the corridor stops as he listens the beep and enters the room silently, cautiously looking in all the directions of the corridor, making sure nobody sees him enter the notorious room of failed projects. Now off course this was the room containing the radar which had been making sound of beeps accelerating at a quick frequency. This black guy ran as quickly as he could towards the main research center where all lab scientists and volunteers were, "jane! Mathew! Ruth! hey! guys!

everybody! we've got a problem! quick! Everybody!" Exclaimed the black guy heavily breathing, who had just forced himself to stop from a quick run. Everybody at the lab gave him a very suspicious look. After a while he had to re-clarify that he was serious "Quick guys! To the failed projects room! The detector of Mr. Clayton has detected something worth giving a look!" On this the scientist gave a serious thought and ran with him to the failed projects room.

"So what is so unserious about this guy?" Colin, a new volunteer at the lab asked, keeping in mind the reaction of his seniors. "This is because that this black guy shouting through the corridors of the world's biggest organization of science and Technology of air space was Colvet junior, an Afro-American and an unpopular volunteer for research. He was the one involved in, and blamed for many of NASA's failures. He was rumored to be in the lab on the recommendation of an old, retired yet one of the most beautiful brains a science lab has seen! He has a great sense of humor, but he has no sense of where and when to crack jokes. His this "unserious" behavior mad it more obvious that he is in the lab only on recommendation and not because of his, if any skills." Ruth, a fellow volunteer replied in the most "I am not willing to speak" manner, lifting herself up from her workstation, grabbing her coffee and accompanying Colin as they both stood in the lab resting their backs at a table. Colin further interrogated "but does rumors appear to be true, Ruth?" Ruth replied "I was curious about this guy, not because of his rumors but because of his talks. When I first had a conversation with him this guy made a very interesting conversation, he had many concepts and ideas to be unveiled and to be experiment. I believe he is just looked down because of one failure, there is no fault in giving him another chance?" "Another chance? What do you think a chance is? a kids play? this isn't a high school punishments girl, better get working and stop complaining about the entire world. Furthermore, I don't want to hear any talk about that old guy or his recommendations in this lab" A Seemingly-Russian with hugely nerdy glasses and a quiet small height, scolded Ruth on her talks. Ruth gave him an "I want to kill him the first chance I get" look and then both Ruth and Colin turned and sat on their workstations "Woah! who is this angry man?" inquired Colin. Ruth replied "some people are a bit prouder on their achievements than they should be, this is the guy who overtook the project of the most beautiful brain I told you about and the media is just making him look a god, he isn't one he is just a hacker. Has been hacking other projects and blueprints for years. They call him spider."

All the white coated scientists were rushing towards the room covet had mentioned earlier "Let me make this clear! Colvet if this also turns out to be one of your stupid pranks than you are fired!" scolded Catherine, a senior scientist at the lab to Colvet.

Before Colvet could reply and drag Catherine into an argument as per the habit of Colvet. Joseph, one of the most senior lab scientist, who was walking hurriedly ahead of them said in his naturally serious tone "Catherine! this is no prank" His voice echoed and disappeared gradually indirectly proportional the increase of sound of "beeps" from the radar of Mr. Clayton maxwell. They all had reached the room of failed projects, and now they all were constantly hearing the beeps accelerating at a great rate, all of theirs hearts came to their throats.

*National Assembly of NASA's international and extra-territorial issues* "That high pitched beep we heard from the radar made by one of the most genius brains to exist on the face of earth, yes! Mr. Clayton Maxwell's radar emitted these beeps which meant a big danger to the soil of inhabitants of earth. We rushed into the room and saw the monitor giving signals of a huge asteroid like structure coming towards earth which, dependent on its temperature and surface structure, as per we estimated from its speed and size that it can make a huge hole till the core of the earth which would immerse huge mass of heat not only damaging the ozone layer but, its direction was directly over a huge population of people, this meant that this asteroid will serve a dual purpose threat to our globe. New York city a city populated of millions of people and worth billions of dollars is under threat of a huge asteroid, now off course it is not possible to evacuate the entire population of people in New York in this small phase of time, even if we do we cannot save those billions of dollars' worth of structures made in the city that never sleeps." This speech was presented by the most senior scientist and witness of this happening, Joseph Bellion. In the National

Joseph continued: "for how many years exactly will human beings hide under the layers of earth's atmosphere, today it might be an asteroid but tomorrow it might be a civilization would we be running like that tomorrow too? When will step up agaisnt the regime of the extra-terrestrial? Today the target is New York, and we are evacuating it!? Tomorrow it will be the world! Will we leave homelands!? NO! we have to get up against this regime! "Do you have a better alternate? Mr. joseph?" spoke a senior NASA specialist from the opposing table? Joseph replied: "yes we do, I was working with my coworkers on a blueprint of a spaceship sufficient enough to provide that negative temperature which will slow down the asteroid and patronize to an extent that we can contain it and it would no more be a danger" The assembly dissolved into small discussions and the console was taken by shock.

"Evacuation of Americas most densely populated city is not that easy, nor that affordable. But it is cheaper and easier and more effective than sending a party into space trying to destroy that asteroid before coming into earth, this is impossible and unacceptable to NASA. Even with the best blue prints, this is an impossible task. We cannot risk the lives of many people under this experimental task. We will better stick to the plan of evacuation. Furthermore, these detected signals will be re-analyzed by the specialists of NASA and improved technologies. Clayton maxwell might had been a great scientist of his time, but he was mentally unstable in his last years and he made inventions like these radars that detect asteroids out of nowhere, this is why these signals will be re analyzed. My juniors must understand that is not sciencefiction. NASA is more practical than movies show it" Stated Mr. Bruce, the head of console of NASA's assembly. The assembly was dismissed and brought a shame to the department of NASA dealing with Mr. Clayton's radar. (It was codenamed department 178)

"AAAH! This organization is doomed! We are notbarking dogs! We are saying these things because we observed them! They justdon't want to up lift an idea from a junior department because it would hurttheir ego" shouted joseph! "it's not about ego of theirs or ours, joseph it'sabout the people! everyone should remain safe" explained Catherine. Josephreplied "I know! I know! I know, fine! and that what I am trying to do. To savethe people! but the seniors!? What are they doing!? Saving their ego! And theirmoney! They want to gamble the lives of people! Fine go ahead! What can I do!?""you have to relax that mind of yours, Things will be all fine" "Till when!?After New York is annihilated!? We only have 21 days left until that hugeasteroid makes the city that never sleeps, sleep forever!? Said Catherine and Joseph respectively.Catherine added: "Joseph! but what can we do rather than listing to ourseniors?" Joseph replied angrily "I am done here!" and left. "joseph no wait!Shouted all the lab co-workers but joseph went to his room. Catherine said toall "everybody stay here; further talk can boil joseph even more. I'll see whatI can do to calm him down." Catherine went towards josephs room. Catherineknocked at josephs door many times and joseph without any further thoughtsreplied "I don't want to talk to anyone. Leave me alone." Catherine said"joseph you don't get it; we don't have a choice! Joseph replied angrily "Idon't know about you people but I will step up against anybody for the people!"
