"The tables really have turned," she said as she held the spoon close to his lips waiting for him to open up.
"This thing will be off very soon, just wait and see," he said annoyed that he had to be fed.
"But I sort of like this," she said as she gently blew the hot soup before giving him the spoonful of chicken soup.

Just as she was about to leave him, he pulled her onto his lap holding her tightly as she tried to leave giving up in the end.
"There is something I must tell you," he said as she relaxed in his arms resting her head on his shoulder.
"I'm listening," she said softly feeling the fast thump of his heartbeat.

"Debra was once my fiancé," he said feeling her stiffen. "She toyed with my emotions from day one. We met straight after university and I thought she would be the one. My mother took a liking to her and I felt happy that at least I had someone she approved of. It wasn't after I had popped the question that her true colors were revealed. I guess she thought that since she had the ring she could do whatever she wanted, I can't even imagine what my life would be like if I had actually married her.

The reason why I don't have a lot of friends is because I broke it off with most of them after I discovered she had been fooling around with them, whilst she told me she was untouched. Alex was my only true friend out of all the lot.

It all started with her coming home late. Blaming me for whatever mishap she encountered. She was slowly burning a hole in my pocket and I couldn't keep up with her demands. I was after all like any other man working under my father," he said as he slowly began to stroke her hand feeling her slightly relax.

"Mother seemed to want us to get married so bad that she pushed up our wedding date. Little did I know she was pregnant by one of my so called friends and tried to pin it on me," he said as she gasped looking into his eyes. Unshed tears glistened within and all the pain he felt was written all over his face.

"There I was on my wedding day, thinking this woman loves me despite the little problems we have encountered. My wedding day is the day all I said before was revealed thus resulting in me losing my friends, hating my mother even more. I focused all that anger into my work resulting in me taking over the company in less that a month after my wedding day flop," he said with a painful chuckle as though he was letting out the pain through that small chuckle.

"I need you to forgive me for not telling you, but I needed you to trust me first. I didn't want to scare you off," he said dejectedly.
"I forgave you the day you left me back home Marcel," she whispered. "Why else do you think I kept this," she smiled showing him the wedding ring.

"But please don't ever, lie to me," she said in a chilling tone, that clearly told him to not do such.
"Yes ma'am," he said with a mischievous smile which fell when she looked at him.
"The reason I sent you back home on your own was because you lied to me. I might have forgiven you but it is hard to forget," she smirked. "This whole week I will work with you, and if you so much as snap at any one of your employees you will definitely be feeding yourself and sleeping alone," she said. "Or better yet, I will not talk to you," she said seeing his eyes widen.
"You must be joking," he said tightening his hold on her as he brought her face closer.
"Try me sweetheart," she said still smiling.

He looked at her realizing that not telling her the truth from the beginning had resulted in this punishment. She was definitely not playing about her ultimatum. As hard as it was going to be for him he would try his best after all it was just one week, right?

"I thought I told you to not push the old man now he will never want to do business with us," he said clenching and unclenching his fist as Nyasha looked at him from across the room. The young man who stood before him stood rigid with fear.
First of all his boss was not shouting but his hand told him otherwise. Secondly he kept glancing at his wife as if waiting for some sort of sign. And thirdly he hadn't lost his job, yet.

Nyasha stood up moving towards him before leaning over his shoulder to look at the file. Her scent turning his mind to moosh in an instant as he closed his eyes before snapping them open to glare at the young man.
"I will fix this myself. You may leave," he said in a low voice as Nyasha sighed.
"Now was that so hard?" She whispered.
"What day is it again?"
"Monday," she smirked as he let out a long sigh.

If you get through this week, I will give you a treat," she smiled before pointing out the error the employee had made that had put everything off.
"I like the route this conversation is going," he said pulling her onto her lap.
"It involves something sweet," she said softly as he pulled her closer.
"I can handle sweet."
"Are you sure dear husband?"
"Hmmm I like the sound of that, my wife. And don't you ever forget I am yours," he murmured moving closer towards her lips.
"Forget what? That you can handle sweet things?" She smirked standing up and moving away from him once she noticed his lips inching closer.
"No my love," he said going after her stopping her by pulling her into his arms.

"Then what?" She whispered as she looked up at him.
"That I am your husband, and you are my wife," he whispered leaning towards her.
"Now why would I need to remember that?" She asked with a playful smirk.
"Because...," he said brushing his lips against hers as her eyes slowly closed.

With a smirk he slowly connected their lips. Slowly he tasted her lips running his tongue over her bottom lip eliciting a moan from her which made him smile. He hadn't even started and already she was responding to him. Parting her lips she clung onto him bringing them closer as their heart rates accelerated with need. Strawberries was all he could taste as he ran his hand through her hair. She reciprocated the gesture but made him grunt in pain as she fisted his hair pulling him lower.

Coming up for air their labored breathing filled the room as they looked into each other's eyes.
"Because I am yours," he said in between deep breaths before he took her but this time in a kiss filled with so much more as they devoured each other, fighting for dominance only for Marcel to win.

The door opened suddenly as Malcolm stumbled into the room.
"Forgive me sir," he mumbled glaring at Nyasha as he stepped out.
"To be continued," Marcel whispered into her ear before releasing her.
"Hmmm it's good to have such dreams," she smiled as she headed towards the door.

---

Marcel looked over the file Malcolm had handed over only to look up finding Malcolm glaring at him.
"Spit it out," Marcel said as he leaned back in his chair.
"Why would you stoop so low as to marry a nobody. Such trash," he spat.
"I do hope you are not referring to my wife as trash Malcolm."
"She is trash. Useless in every department, even in bed," he spat.
Malcolm smirked at this.

"Then I believe I got the better version of a wife, because from my point of view the woman I married is a chef in all areas," he said leaning forward. "She has me hooked on her food which is to die for, literally. And don't get me started on the sex. No not just sex, earth shaking, orgasm after orgasim, love making. I can't even get the sounds she makes out of my head every time we are one. No other woman can hit it like she does, and I know no man has ever hit it like I do. Pure magic I must say, out of this world," he smirked.

"Could you ever make her moan with just a simple kiss, because believe me I can do that. Make her cling on to you begging for more, because believe me I can do that. Make her feel safe and happy, because I definitely am doing that. Make her come out of her shell, because I have already helped her come out of her cocoon emerging a rare butterfly only meant for me. And oh I almost forgot, could you ever make her scream out your name and look at you without any barriers, because yes, once again I am doing just that. And if you think that little hit and run you planned was covered up properly you have another thing coming, did you even keep in touch with the driver. If you did give them my regards, that is, if you even find the little piece of s**t," he said as he slowly leaned back in his seat just as Nyasha walked into the room.

Sending her a wink she blushed taking a seat by the sofa looking over the files she had been previously handling. Malcolm looked beyond pissed off as Marcel smirked in his direction watching him leave the office.

"What was that about?" Nyasha asked seeing the smile forming on his face.
"Just man stuff," he said as he grabbed another file to go through.

So how was that?
