Marionette

My head pounded as unrecognizable memories flashed through my head, most more disgusting than others.

I scrunched myself into a ball under the large tree that I was sat against while I kept my hands on my head, trying to stop the pain. Many people walked past, not one asking wether I was okay as some just ignored me while others gave me dirty looks as though I was trash below them. Rain began to patter on the grass and street around me as many ran for cover and some pulled umbrellas out of their bags. I didn't care though.

The sudden sound of old music from a coffee shop across the road had finally reached my ears as my headache had disappeared as if it was never there and I finally looked up at the people around me, my legs still to my chest. It was barely as busy as before as I could now see younger children splashing in the muddy puddles around them.

Sensing a powerful aura, my head snapped towards the right, more around the back of the tree, as I spotted four people heading towards the forest that lead to the next town over from Magnolia. The aura that I was sensing belonged to a large blonde haired male with a fur coat as well as weird headphones and a large lightning strike going down his right eye. It was obvious he was a wizard due to the power he emitted.

The people around him were laughing and talking while he only watched as though he was a leader. Another male with long green hair emitted quite a sense of power as well as he walked close to the blonde haired one and seemed to watch everything that he did.

The way he walked. How he spoke. How he smiled.

It was cute in a way and left me quite curious as I began to get up and walk along the same direction that they were walking when I noticed a certain mark on the green haired males hand which was the guild mark for the most powerful in Magnolia called fairy tail. The mark on his hand was green as it matches his hair.

I began to speed my walk as I ran towards the group that still giggled away at many jokes that they obviously shared.

I'd been wanting to join Fairy Tail for a while now since I wanted to participate in The Grand Magic Games along side them, my second option was Sabertooth as I also looked up to them.

Managing to catch up with them when they were at the start of the forest, I quickly leapt to grip the green haired males left arm that was also he same hand that had the guild mark. He seemed surprised at first as he rapidly turned around to face me.

"Hi, um~ My names Marionette and I saw your guild Mark when you walked past and um~ I was wondering, are you a part of Fairy Tail?" I smiled after the last question, not sure myself wether it was real or fake.

He worriedly turned to his comrades behind him as the blonde haired male wasn't really interested while the other two ushered him one. Turning towards me again, he smiled politely before standing a little more straighter.

"Yes we are from Fairy Tail. Why'd you ask, Missy?"

Looking into his blue orbs as the blonde haired Mage seemed slightly interested now as he took side glances towards the both of us. I slightly looked down at my feet, shuffling them due to nerves, before I looked back up at the man before me.

"Because I wanna join too~"
