Alex's P.o.v

I relaxed as she fell asleep in arms. "Hey Alex, who's that?" I turn to see Peter walking towards us. Suddenly Violet jumps out of my arms and transforms in middle of the air so when she landed she was a full sized wolf. I barked out orders to subdue her. When I looked up at her she has the nerve to wink!

She then turns happily around and jumps up in the sky and flies toward her home. I try to keep my eyes in her but she blends in with clouds.

"Who the hell was that?!" Peter shouts. I turn to him and smile sheepishly."That was Violet. My mate." He stared at me for a second and then burst out laughing.

"You sure do know how to pick them."
He laughs, I push him over so he falls. "I'm going after her I'll be back." I transform into a wolf an run after her.

I can smell her scent in the air. It smells like heaven. I howl up to her and wag my tale as I run faster.

I see a figure descend from the sky and land about 20 yards away. I run faster and right when she turns her head and sees me I hear a low snarl. I stop and listen for more, not even a second later the grey wolf from the night before jumps in front of Violet.

I instantly stop and get into attack position. I feel my lip curl back from my teeth and I to start to snarl.

I hear Violet whimper and pull on the grey wolf's tell a little. He turns his head a little so he can speak to her. I take my opportunity to strike, Violet sees me and jumps in my way. I stop in front of her shocked and from the expression of the other wolf he to is shocked.

"Don't you dare hurt my brother Alex, I may be your mate but I will fight you." She says with a cold glare. In that moment I'm truly afraid of her.

"Mate! How do you know he's your mate Violet?" The grey wolf says with a shocked expression.

Violet rolls her eyes and says,"Well how do you think Zack."

"But he's the enemy, I mean come on he tried to kill dad!" Zack says.

Oh so they're family. Well this just got even more awkward.

"I do want to apologize for that by the way. If I had known Violet was my mate I never would have attacked you." I say, Zack glares at me then turns to Violet.

"Come on let's go home you're in so much trouble." Zack says.

At this my ears go down and I growl. No one will hurt my Violet.

"Violet is staying with me. She's mine." I state. I see Zack glance at Violet. She starts to glare at me, her lip curls over her teeth as she snarls," I belong to no one." Uh oh probably should have worded that better.

Right as I'm about to apologize she looks at Zack and growls," Let's get out of here." I start to follow them but she stops and starts to growl at me."Go away!" I stare at her shocked but continue to follow her. She's my mate and I will protect her always. Besides I have to say sorry to her dad I am not looking forward to that.

"Listen I'm sorry for saying you're mine but I have to come with you to apologize to your father and tell him we're mates." I state. She stares at me for a while befor she nods her head yes.

This is going to be fun.
