Kendra loved it all performing anywhere and promoting her album it has been a journey. She met her country idols Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Dixie Chicks, Joey and Rory and love every moment. Kendall couldn't be there for the show so she brought Mama Schmidt a photo of Josh and her grandfather. The award was Best New Artist. The presenter were Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.
"The winner is.... Kendra Schmidt!"
Going against Tori Kelly, Cam, Cole Swindell and Chase Bryant Kendra was shocked as Kathy hugged her then she was wheeling up to accept her award.
"Oh my gosh."
she teared up.
"Sorry i want to thank GOD my idols, my family: Including this photo Grandpa and Josh..."
Then Kendall and Dustin came onstage to surprise her as Kendall sobbed.
"You did it, Little sis!"
hugging her she said.
"Thanking everyone at TOLBooth Records my heart and managers: Dustin Belts and my brother Kendall Schmidt. You all believed in me, my band plus the fans thank you! Kevin Kenneth Mama and Daddy thank you!"
they all wheeled offstage to celebrate
