Kendra was walking in her walker to class it has been a long exhausting day when suddenly a bully dropped her books and punched her beaten her. The inner 3 year old Kendra was screaming.
MOMMY stop hurting me I begged you!
The bully got her good. Kendra lost her strength to speak.
Daddy i'll stop really don't laugh at me.
Another bully punched her tummy.

Mrs. Martin see Kendra shaken and tearfully told the bullys go to the principal office. There was one particullar memory of Kendra and her adopted parents.
One evening Mrs. martin at school complemented Kendra on singing even though it was positive it made Kendra cringe thinking lit wasn't good. There is a rule in the home that she isnt allow to sing and her parents always bring down her confidence saying she isn't a amazing performer. Sadly even though lauren and chris knew about the abusive life at home, they didn't know that singing was also one of them. It was almost like the scene from Matilda playing from word to word when Miss Honey came to the house and have a chat with the family but it was much worst. Kendra Dad beaten her in front Miss Martin while Kendra was in her bedroom. It was something Mrs. Martin never forgot.
Mrs. Martin sit Kendra in her lap and held her.
"You ok?"
Kendra cough and was in pain she was feeling tired
"My whole body hurt and too…many painful memories came back."
Mrs. Martin understood and drove her home where Kathy heard everything from Mrs. Martin and Kathy, greeted her daughter sit her in bed and iced her face.
"Mommy love you i'm so sorry."
Kendra said.
"I'm so glad you all take me back everyday but the painful memory won't go away."
Kathy understood.
