Harry's POV
It had been one whole month since we got here and so far I had had absolutely no luck finding my sister. How could I if I didn't even know what she looked like? The High school was huge and even if we were supposedly in the same year as she was most likely to be, I hadn't seen even a glimpse of her in any of our lessons.
We had started getting used to everything now. The crowded cafeteria, the lockers, the food and even the town felt a lot less foreign now that we knew some of the good places to go and eat. Garry's was one of them. It was a small cafe where they had good milkshakes and ice cream.
"I think I like strawberry the best," Ron was saying.
"Nah chocolate for the win," Neville argued. They were talking about what milkshake was the best. We were sitting in a booth at Garry's with a couple of other people. Ivy and Ashlyn. The girl who lived across the street from us. She was now engaged in an animate discussion with Luna, and Ginny and Hermione were talking to Ivy about some book series they were reading. They had become pretty close with her over the last few days.
"Oh, did you guys heat? Rolf's coming back!" Ashlyn said after a while and we looked at her cluelessly until she explained. "You know, Rolf Scamander? He's the star quarterback. The whole football team and cheerleading squad went to play some major league or something but they're back!"
Scamander. Thar name echoed in my head and from the looks of it, everyone else was just as shocked as I was. Not a lot of people had that name and if my gut was right, Rolf would have to be Newt Scamander's great grandson, and quite possibly a wizard.
So what was he doing in a muggle school?
"Did they win?" Luna asked starting a conversation again. "The tournament I mean." Ashlyn grinned and nodded her head so her hair bounced around her shoulders.
"Only lost two games," she said.
We stayed there for another quarter of an hour, gulping down milkshakes and eating from the plate of brownies in the centre of the table. The milkshakes and brownies were on me today so after carefully counting the dollar bills and placing them on the table, I got up and everyone else followed. It had taken is a while to figure out the dollar notes and coins and how it worked here, but we had gotten there eventually. Of course it had been harder for Ron, Neville and Luna; they still occasionally got confused.

The next day at school, the corridors were just as crowded as ever, but there was definitely more noise, more laughter as people greeted the players who had won them the tournament. You could easily pick them out because of their jerseys and nearly everyone was going up to them and clapping them on the back.
I swallowed as I remembered this was how it was at Hogwarts after Gryffindor won a Quidditch match. I remembered how people from my house would come up to the team and clap them on the back, telling us we'd done a good job. Ron stiffened next to me.
"Bloody hell," he said. "I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss Hogwarts."
"I know," I muttered back as we continued on our way to the lockers. Hermione and Ginny had already gone to their first class and Neville and Luna were waiting by the lockers. But when we got there, they weren't alone.
A guy with dark hair and blue eyes was leaning against the locker between mine and Luna's. He was wearing one of the jerseys we had seen all the guys on the team in. Luna was talking to him with a dreamy smile on her face and I had to hide a laugh when the guy looked helplessly at Neville, his eyes wide.
"Three galleons says she's talking about wrackspurts," Ron whispered and we snorted before walking up to them. Luna beamed as we came closer.
"This is Rolf," she told us and then turned to him. "That's Ron and this is Harry."
He grinned a little uneasily at us and held out his hand. "It's nice to meet you guys. Did you just transfer here?"
I took his hand, shaking it firmly. "Yeah, last month. You guys won the tournament. Congrats, mate."
His grin widened and he opened his locker to put a bunch of books inside. "Yeah, we killed it back there. I've never brought the trophy back so doing it this time was pretty cool."
Once again, my mind flashed to Hogwarts and winning the House Cup, but I quickly pushed that thought away. I was wondering exactly how the great grandson of a British textbook author had ended up here. It just didn't make sense.
His gaze drifted to the scar on my forehead and his rues widened for just a second but then he was looking down at his schedule. I had a feeling he had noticed something was off about us but he wasn't showing it. "Gotta head to class, man," he said.
"I'll see you around," he said to Luna who smiled back at him.
