"We all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin."

The rain splatters against the roof of my house. I am laying on the couch trying to finish an English assignment. I hadn't talked to Writerboy since this morning after the Chemistry test. It was actually easier than I thought. I stare at the writing prompt that was assigned today. It is due in a week and I cannot think of anything to write.

Write about an experience that you think will change your future. It can be something that is happening that you think will change your future or something in the past. Write a 5 page paper on it.

Nothing ever happens to me. What am I going to write about?

The front door opens and my brother comes through with a couple of his friends. I groan. Now I have to move upstairs to my room. I eye his friends. First comes Brian Clarke, the idiot who doesn't know who I am, comes through. His curly, dark hair and big brown eyes make him a prime victim to girls pinning after him. The problem is he knows. Brian notices me on the couch and smirks.

"Hey! That's the girl you were arguing with this morning. What? Is she stalking you?" Brian says to my brother that hasn't noticed me yet. I roll my eyes at the comment. Sebastian snorts.

"Hardly," I snort.

"Then, who are you?" Another voice questions. I turn to see who it is. Blake Asher. His bright blue eyes gaze at me. They are enough to make any girl at school swoon with the exception of, well, me. Add his Quarterback status and his beautiful six pack along with is shaggy brown hair and he is the most wanted man in school. Along with that he is the most popular and my brother's best friend since middle school.

I oll my eyes at Blake and turn to my brother, "You have horrible friends Bash. Either that or you are a horrible brother for not ever mentioning your dear twin sister."

Sebastian glares at me and smirk, "Well which one is it?"

I turn to look at his friends and they are both gaping at me. Their eyes look from Bash to e to Bash again.

"I have mentioned having a sister before," Sebastian mutters.

"You better have," I scold playfully and wink. The corners of his mouth turn up slightly. I grin at his attempt to hide it.

Someone coughs beside me, Blake, "So you have a twin sister?" I laugh.

"Yep. Kaylee. I have talked about her before, you idiot," Bash says to him.

Blake looks down sheepishly, "You have mentioned her name, but we didn't know she was your sister."

I shake my head and smile slightly. They have been coming to my house for years and didn't even notice me in the background making a sandwich or coming home from hanging out with my friends.

Brian coughs awkwardly, "SO what were you guys fighting about this morning? Your guys looked petty pissed and Sebastian over here was in a grumpy mood."

My smile drops and I look at Bash. His eves flash with anger. I am not telling my overprotective big brother that I met some guy online and I don't even know his first name.

"She has been texting some guy and wont tell me who it is," Bash grumbles with anger in his voice.

I glare at him, "How do you know it is a guy? It could be Lavender for all you know."
