Your POV:

The doors are opening. When there's a small spot I can just scoot in, I run through it. The guys following behind me. "Jeffrey!" I call his name out. We keep running until we find the door. "We will be able to get back. Come on!" I open and jump through the door. There's a big white flash then, I was pulled into a hug. I open my eyes. "J-Jeffrey!" I hug him back. "(Y/n)!" He kisses my forehead and hugs me tighter if possible. I had no words for what was going on. "Why didn't you come back?!" "I couldn't. I learned you can only step into here twice and hop out once. I'm sorry." "You're okay! I'm just happy I got you back! Levin and Malachi are going to be so happy to!" "Who are they?" He lets me go and I turn around. "Who's he?" "This is Jeffrey! Jeffrey meet Travis the pervert, Aaron, and Dante!" "Hey! I'm no pervert!" "Oh, sure Travis." I look back at Jeffrey who is glaring at Travis. "Why don't you guys go back and get the others? Tell Levin I sent you just in case. I believe this is a step in the right direction to getting out." Aaron hops back through with Dante. Travis stays. "Travis? Why aren't you going back with the guys?" "They probably don't remember." "Oh! Gotcha! Right, left, skip 3, right, skip 8, left. Got it?" "Yup! See ya soon!" He jumps through. "I don't like the look of that Travis guy." "Jeffrey! Come on! You only just met him! He can actually be sweet sometimes." I mumble the last sentence. "Oh! You gotta crush! Never knew this day would come." "What?! No! I was only saying, he's not a total perv!" "Sure. Still the only girl?" "Yeah. They stared at me after I got back from a run. Almost missed the door. Lost my hood on the way." "Oh, you mean my hood?" "Yeah. I missed you and that was the only thing you had left. Other than that picture of us hanging out one time." I pull the picture out of my pants pocket and look at it with tears streaming sown my face. "I missed you Jeffrey. I really did. *sniff* You can even ask the guys how much. *sniff* Why? Why didn't you save yourself? I could've *sniff* done it. Without losing you for all this time." He wraps me in another tight hug. "I did it so I knew you wouldn't get hurt like I did. I needed to make sure you were safe." I continue drying in his arms as I heard thuds and voices of the people who were willing to come. I felt someone push Jeffrey off and wrap me in there arms. "What did you do to make her cry?!" It was the newbie. Garroth. I push him off and run back to Jeffrey. I jump at him getting pulled into another tight hug. I hear some guys growling. Probably out of jealousy. I wipe my tears and turn around still in the hug. "Guys. This is Jeffrey. A great friend of mine that's always been like a brother to me." They stop growling and smile. "Jeffrey. The people who decided to come are, Levin, Malachi, Garroth, Gene, Zenix, Laurence, and Zane. Along with the ones that accompanied me here, Travis, Dante, and Aaron. They've been great friends. Except when Zane has his bad days, which is like almost everyday." "What! Ugh!" Zane walks off and I giggle. "Nice to meet each one of you!" "Nice to meet you." They all say out of unison so, it was like crazy. "Now. Ground rules. No one! I mean no one! Runs in the maze without asking me or (y/n) first! Do I make myself clear?!" They all nod. "I will assign you all jobs to help around! You may not like it but, you get what I tell you!" They all nod. "Last but, not least! You better not be putting your hands anywhere near (y/n)! You do and I catch you, you will be..." I cut him off by punching his shoulder. "Jeffrey!" "Okay! Just don't touch her! Do I make myself clear?!" They all nod and some chuckle. "You can all look around now! BUT! No going into the Maze without me or (y/n)!" They all sprint off except Gene. Dante's younger brother. He walks up to us. "Yeah Gene?" "I've never seen you smile." "Yeah?" "You should keep smiling. It's cute." He walks off and Jeffrey turns me to face him. "Do not let there sweet talk get to you. Got it?" "Got it captain!" We both laugh. "So, shall we?" He puts his hand out. "We shall."
