'Noo! What are you doing Ella? Why are you walking into the pit of pain again? Don't touch him! He's throwing daggers at me? Yea wait and watch you moron!!!', my brain is squished in it's own game as I reach Ro and start punching his wide frame.
I didn't expect him here tonight. The curls of his dark brown hair slit at parts to reveal those beautiful blue eyes staring at me with full of love. I let myself dissolve in his movements with palm tight for every step of thumping music. We are in eclectic world of our own when someone triggers us from our trance. My classmates, suffocating more than half of the pub, hurry in groups towards the entrance to greet new entry of the party. I am in no mood to sustain this interruption. I just walk away in despair of loss of this moment. Greater nugget of despair was Ro walking away without a single word of being back. It was hopeless to expect concern from a person who had decide to back put from a beautiful and perfect relationship.
I am out of pub and go by my preferences to take a peaceful walk around the fences of it. I have seen this pub grow older with me. Dad and mom blogged me to this place every weekend, for formal union jigs. They weren't flashy as it's here today. But, those were memories of smiles and innocence framed inside me.
Stilettos in hand, my bare feet feels so fresh on glossy grass. The touch of dew drops from rose petals bought warmth and happiness.
"Ouch!", prick of the needle sharp thrones feels like the happiness being stolen away. While I remove the deadly throne, I realize how real the world around is. Memories of past, failures of present and meaningless future is my reality, I bump down with a sigh and start to weep.
Deep in this greenery, shallowness is filling me.
Under the roots of grass my water wobbled lenses catch up with shimmering white formation. The pull it beholds on me is curiosity. I wipe my eyes feeling the mascara fade and crawl towards the brightness. Scratching the dirt over the glow I notice an elegant silver chain. Lifting it high, I feel the bliss of it's pendant, surprisingly it read big bold italic letters 'EE'.
My initials weren't portrayed so beautifully even in the certificates of success with my name, Ella Earlson!!. Unknowingly my hand traces the pendant, acknowledging it's perfect curves.
It felt like a drape of mesmerizing mermaid around my neck when I wore it. This bought a small curve on my lips, which felt dry and dead now.
The pretty chain makes me feel content, I don't know who might be the owner of this silver twine but, I append to have found my long lost belonging. Even though it's hard to match the grace of the chain I try to pace like a princess, holding the pendant all along.
Series of questions strikes me as the chain stays stiff on my green neck tie. The region where no one attempts to walk, this beautiful piece of art was left abandoned. The brightness of silver should have been allude identifier for any theft attempts, but, it was untouched, probably for ages after seeing the amount of dust it had accumulated. The ageing had not shunned the amazing clarity of it's intricate design although.
I stare up at the full moon sky, it's bright rays grazing my body.
"Is this artifact left behind specifically for me? Who in this lonely world has left me this precious thing as though defining my entity?". Right then I feel a shadow blanket the moonlight from behind me and a firm hand grips my shoulders...
