Chapter 6: Portals And Stuff

Ok so there was stuff written originally here but I can't remember what I put lol so here u go chapter six;

"I just remembered, you still haven't answered my question on how you just appeared out of nowhere,"

"Ok but you won't believe me" he states.
"Please, we're teens who can control the elements fire and water, what could possibly be weirder than that?"
"That's true," he sighs, "ok, so you should of received a note or something telling you about who and what you are, it should also tell you that there are three others like you but in different worlds that suit their elements, for example yours is the planet for the water element, oh and it's name isn't Earth, it's Aquius." "At least I'm sure it was I should of payed more attention.. eh oh well" he mumbles the last bit.

I nod my head stupidly, watching his hands wave around as he explained, "but that still doesn't answer my question,"

Flint rolls his eyes. "You didn't let me finish, when you reach the age of fourteen, like I am you will have complete control of your powers and you won't have to rely on outside sources of power like rain or a river, anytime after you turn that age, a kind of portal opens up and you step through it, at some point you will also be able to summon these portals but it takes up a lot of energy and if you use it before your ready it could quite possibly be fatal.

Now remember I mentioned we each have our different planets?" I nod.
"Well they're in different dimensions but each planet is in the exact same place so when you step through a portal, it's like opening a door, wherever the portal is opened, is where you will land on the other side. But there are specific points where you can only open them there, like weak spots in the walls of the dimensions.

Anyway the point is that you'll move from dimension to dimension until you find all four elementals, then with all of our power combined will be able to summon a portal to Aproa, which is like a dimension for all of us elementals." He stops and allows himself to breath after the long looong explanation.

"Ok so basically there are portals leading to different dimensions?" I say.

"Yah basically"
"Then why didn't you just say that?" I question, he glares at me and opens his mouth to argue but can't really find an argument to it.

That would explain why my "special training" was going to start on that specific date, they must of found out somehow that I get full control on my birthday...

"Flint has this happened before? Or is it some prophecy?"
Flint laughs, "a prophecy T?" He manages to stop his little giggle session, "no, it happens every few generations, it most likely happened to your great great grand parents... I think.. I dunno but yeh it's not a prophecy."

Ah so it's happened before.. That might explain how the R.S.M.I.A knows but.. I don't see how they could of gotten as much information from something that happened years and years and years ago...

"Oh... If it happened to my parents then why aren't I in Aproa now?"

I see a small glint of sadness in his eyes before it disappears, "not all elementals get to Aproa, sometimes they give up or find each other too late, but even if they did find Aproa, they had to return to their homeland.. well planet to raise the next generation,"

I nod taking in all the information,
"You would be born in Aproa but there are these elders who can tell if your an elemental or not, if you are then your sent here if not then you can stay,"

"Then what's the point of it all?"
He shrugs, "I don't know I didn't really pay attention," I roll my eyes while I think everything over.
