Chapter 2: Gummy Land

"What even is this?" Muttered Joanne.
"No clue..." said Alicé. She still had a startled expression on her pale face. Joanne could understand why. The whole land they were in was made of candy. There was a dirt path of Oreo crumbs, the green grass was sugared apple slices, and even the Clouds were made of cotton candy.
"Look! Worms!" Yelled Joanne. She picked up a pink gummy worm.
"Don't eat that." Said Alicé. Joanne smirked and put the escaping worm into her mouth and swallowed. "Ew!" Yelled Alicé. She shook her head so hard that her blond hair ruffled up.
"Come on! It's not that bad!" Said Joanne, patting Alicé's head, messing up her hair even more. Alicé moved Joanne's hand and started walking.
"You are so gross." Said Alicé as Joanne grabbed some dirt and put it in her mouth.
"When you starve to death because you refuse to eat this candy, imma say that you were an idiot at your funeral." Said Joanne. Alicé snickered.
"Okay. Have fun with that. Oh, look! A building!" Said Alicé. Joanne looked up at her words and saw a giant gummy house.
"Let's go get it!" Said Joanne. They both started running to the building, and soon enough, they got tired. While Joanne started to eat a gummy flower, Alicé napped on a gumdrop rock.

"Wake up." Whispered Joanne. Alicé opened her eyes and saw a gumball moon with tiny gumball stars.
"Wh-what? Why are we here?" Asked Alicé.
"It started to get dark, so I carried you here while you were sleeping." Said Joanne.
"Oh, uh, thanks." Said Alicé. Joanne nodded. Alicé looked up at the building they were next to. It was the gummy house.
"C'mon, let's go." Said Joanne.
"Okay." Said Alicé. They walked inside of the building, it was noisy, bright, and crowded.
"Welcome to the gummy house. We hope you find your destination" Said a boy.
The boy looked at her. He had curly brown hair, and his wide brown eyes suggested that he had never seen a human other than himself. He poked Joanne's cheek, and Joanne saw his gloves, which had a picture of a gummy Pikachu, titled 'Gumdichu'.
"Hey!" Yelled Joanne.
"You're a human!" Said the boy. Alicé nodded.
"So are you." Pointed out Joanne.
"Yeah, but, I've never seen another human before." Said the boy.
"Nice to meet you." Said Alicé.
"My name's Drew." Said the boy.
"My name is Alicé. This is Joanne." Said Alicé. Joanne smiled and waved.
"So, where you heading?" Asked Drew.
"England." Said Alicé.
"Maybe Sir Danns can help you?" Said Drew.
"Who now?" Asked Joanne.
"The ruler of this Country." Said Drew.
"We don't know where or who that is." Said Alicé.
"I'd be happy to come with you, I can help you survive. Y'know, bears and stuff." Said Drew.
"Great!" I'd love that!" Said Alicé. Drew smiled.
"Do you want some normal clothes?" He asked. Alicé nodded and Joanne smiled back at Drew.
"Okay! See you in a second. You can go before me!" Said Drew. He raced of to the stairs, and the two girls sighed, and headed outside.
