Chapter Four

Alli's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning and went to training like I did the day before. All training we ran and got touches on the ball. It was exhausting.

As soon as I got home I took a shower and snuggled into my covers and fell asleep with my phone beside me on the nightstand.

Around five, I was awoken by the sound of my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I answered groggily.

"Heyyy best frand," on the other end of the line was a happy Alexia.

"You woke me up, this better be good," I told her.

"Did you see the text Xavier sent?"

"No, why?"

"He canceled training. The boys need the stadium I think but we don't have training tomorrow," she sang into the phone.

"That would've been my last full training session while I wasn't on the team," I thought aloud.

"Cool. Well anyway, I was thinking we should all come to my house and have a drink or two. Or five."

"Of course! Who's all going?"

Alexia couldn't answer me because my parents were calling me.

"Hey, I gotta go, my parents are calling. I'll call you back."

I ended my call with Alexia and switched to my parents.

"Hey mom, hey dad."

"Hey sweetie!" They both said. "What are you doing tonight? We haven't seen you in a while."

"Well I'm actually busy but tomorrow I'm not. Xavier cancelled training."

"Oh great!" My mom exclaimed. "Then why don't we go shopping? You can meet us at the little Cafe, grab a coffee and then go to all the little shops?"

"Sure, mom. That sounds great."

"Okay. See you around 10?"

"Yep. Bye, love you!"

"Love you too!"

After I hung up with my mom and dad I texted Alexia to see what time I should come over. She said around 6:30 so I had a little time to get ready. I decided to just watch T.V and chill a little for once.

Soon enough, my phone buzzed. My heart about stopped when I read the name.

Neymar: Hey. Sorry about last night :/

Me: You're fine, it wasn't your fault anyway

Neymar: Yeah, you're right. Bruna gets jealous easily. That's been happening a lot lately.

I was taken by surprise at what Neymar told me. We just met and he's already opening up to me. Not to mention I'm a huge fan of his, but I don't think he knows that.

Me: that sucks

Neymar: yeah it does. But hopefully she'll learn that I'm not looking to date somebody else, unless she keeps treating me like she has been lately

Me: why don't you just confront her. You complain about her a lot, just break up with her.

Why do I say things.

Neymar: A little sassy, aren't you😏

Me: well when people get on my nerves...

Neymar: oh so now I'm getting on your nerves?
