Chapter Fifteen

Neymar's POV

The guys and I crowded into my living room while the match against Wolfsburg began. By "the guys" I meant Leo, Dani, Gerard, Munir, Luis, Marc, Douglas, and Ter Stergen. Rafinha was on his way but that kid is always late.

For the first couple of minutes the game was really boring and the guys just talked all the way through it.

"Neymar, just ask her to be your girlfriend already," Dani pushed.

Little did he know.

"You obviously like her," Marc added.

"Guys," Gerard said annoyed. "Let the guy do what he wants. Chill."

"Thank you, Ger-" I began to say but was quickly cut off by Leo.

"Yeah, Ney, you should really make a move on her."

"What?"

"Well, I mean, she's really pretty. She could probably get any guy she wanted," he said and shrugged.

How come he keeps doing me like that? He's supposed to be on MY side! Whatever, I'll have to talk to him later.

"Well, good thing I already have" I said and all the boys went crazy. "But, chill, it's only been three days."

Dani was about to say something when Luis shouted at the T.V.

"Go Alli!"

We all turned our attention back to the game and we saw Alli intercept the ball but immediately got fouled by another player.

"What! Are you kidding me," I yelled and through my hands up in the air.

When she hesitated to get up I got really nervous but eventually she did. Once she was on her feet she quickly passed the ball to the left striker who lost the ball. It was the other teams throw and they somehow scored a goal. They did a close up on Alli and you could see how frustrated she was but damn, she was hot.

They kicked off the ball and the same player as before lost the ball and the other team played the ball between the defenders gap. They, of course, scored again.

The next kickoff was different. Instead Alli took it and passed it all the way back to a defender who passed it all the way to the striker. I saw Alli running towards the wide open penalty box and all of us got to our feet. The ball was played to her and she got fouled again. After the ref didn't blow the whistle and she remained on the ground i got furious.

"Aw, c'mon! Are you kidding me? That's a god damn foul! She can't be fucking hurt," I yelled at the TV.

Rafinha happened to walk in right as I started raging and smiled.

"Woah, what's going on?"

"Alli got hurt," Munir said.

"No, we don't know if she's hurt or not," Dani said worriedly.

We all turned back to the TV again and saw Alli limping off the field. Another player subbed in for her and they kept showing Alli's face. She looked like she was in pain and was frustrated. I felt so bad for her.

Alli's POV

I watched the rest of the half from the bench in pain. The final score at half time was 0-4 and nobody was happy. I hobbled back to the locker room with Laura and Jennifer at my side ready to help out if I needed it. After my ankle wasn't feeling too bad, we decided to quickly ice it and put a brace on it and I would be put back into the game.
