"Psst. Juvia. Wake up."

I groaned.

"Juvia! Wake up! Now's not a time to be asleep!" Lucy whispered again.

I groaned again. Lucy surely has some problems with me sleeping at school.

"Ms. Juvia."

I suddenly shot out of the seat, hearing that voice. Oh crap. This is Health class, isn't it? Oh crap. The ruthless lady!

"A-ah--he-h-he--I-I'm so sorry for sleeping." I said. She raised one brow at me, then continued to teach in front. I released a sigh of relief.

"Ms. Pory isn't even that close to Ms. Grandine, isn't she? How are they twins in this condition?" Lucy whispered.

"Nothing's impossible, Lucy." I said in an uninterested tone.

"But what if she really isn't her twin! It's just someone pretending to be--"

"That's preposterous." I said in a bored manner.

"But you said nothing is impossible--"

"Ms. Herafilia and Ms. Mizuyuki! No chatting! Out!" she shouted. Oh well.

As soon as we got out, Lucy had this HUGE smirk plastered on her face.

"Heh. Let's go, Juvia! I have a lot in mind!" she said while grinning.

"Lucy, it's just 25 minutes to the next class. We might get late--"

"Nah, forget about it. Mr. Gildarts would accept a wink as the reason. Let's go~" she sang, and dragged me all the way to the gymnasium.

The gymnasium is seldom used by the school, since we have a field. But they still maintain it. The basketball court, the ping-pong table, the volleyball court, even the swimming pool.

"Follow me." Lucy said, and dragged me to the pool. She dipped her feet in the pool, while I just Indian-sat beside her.

"I've got to show you this." she said. She took a stick from her bag.

"Uhh, Lucy? That's a stick. Of course I've seen that before." I told her. She snickered.

"No, trust me, this'll be interesting!" she enthusiastically said. I crossed my arms. "Okay, what's in for me?" I asked.

"The past few days, I've been addicted to this series, Sherlock--"

"Yeah, the detective. Now what?" I asked. She glared at me, like she was trying to say 'let me finish, dummy', so I shut my mouth.

She continued to babble. "And I got interested. So I tried to observe the school, looking for a mystery." she said. I mentally face-palmed.

"And you won't guess what I saw." she said, and raised the stick again. I raised a brow. "Uhh, a stick? A clearly normal, recently cut from a tree, stick?" I guessed. She rolled her eyes.

"No! This isn't just normal!" she exclaimed, and twisted the stick. I widened.

"Ha. I told you it wasn't normal." I told her.

It had drops--no, splatters of blood. And it forms an acronym--JCM.

"Couldn't this be just red ink?" I asked. She sighed.

"No. I'm good at first aid, remember? Since I was a child? I can easily distinguish real blood from fake." she said proudly.

"Fine, fine. And so?" I asked. She looked left and right, behind and in front, like she was looking out for something. When she proved there was no one, she held my shoulders.

"And isn't it unusual for it to have your initials on it?" she asked.

I looked at the stick again. JCM. Juvia Chavelle Mizuyuki. My eyes widened. True. These are my initials.

"And didn't you know? There was news about a gang called Raven Tail going arount the city, and that their gang was reported to be bullies. I mean, really really bad bullies." she prolonged the word really. "And something like this was found at Mermaid Heel Memorial Academy. The initials were LHT. A week later, a girl named Lorine Hazel Tesdola was found at a dark alley, with nothing on, probably raped and abused, and dead. After that, many cases followed, all victims were girls and daughters of rich people." she said. I suddenly shivered. Except for that last part

"The heck, Lucy! You're scaring me, really really scaring me." I also prolonged the really, just like she did. "Plus, there might be another JCM around here. And I'm not a daughter of a rich man or something, hello--" I paused.

I almost forgot. I'm an orphan. I don't know any relatives. I don't know my parents. The surname Mizuyuki was given to me by--

"But the possibility that you ARE a daughter of a rich man is 50:50, Juvia. You can be the next target." she said. My eyes widened when a certain memory visited my brain.

"Shh. They're after you, so shut up." he said. What?!

This just keeps getting creepier and creepier.

"Nah, Lucy. Just drop it. It might be a prank! The prankers might've been bored, right? And they've also heard about that thing with the blood and stuff, so they decided to prank someone randomly? Come on, Lucy. Don't make me an insomniac!" I said. She sighed.

"Maybe you're right. I should just stick to watching Sherlock, and not copying it." she said and heaved out a looooong sigh.

She stood up, kicking the air to dry her feet.

"Well, I guess we better head back and wait for the next class?" she asked. I shrugged.

"I guess so." I said.
