Ally

Thomp. Thomp. Thomp.

That's the sound of my boots as I make my way out of the airport.  I look at my watch. 2:17 am. May taxi pa kaya? Wala akong inaasahang sundo kasi naman surprise ang pag-uwi ko. Joke. Wala na tlga akong kamag-anak dito sa metro. My fam resides in New York, where I came from and most of my relatives are in Cavite.  Hay bahala na nga. Luckily, may mga taxi pa naman kaya nakasakay ako agad. I told the driver the hotel where I will reside for the mean time. I plan to stay here maybe 5-6 months. Vacation slash work. Have i told you that I am a wedding planner? Oh well nevermind. Ako ang planner sa kasal ng besfriend since birth ko, si Alfie. Joke. Alfred. Akalain mo nga naman na ang dating nerd kong bestfriend na nakabaon ata ang self confidence sa lupa ay ikakasal na. Inunahan pa ko.

"Ma'am andito na po tayo." I heard the driver say. I looked around. Oo nga. Ang daldal ko kasi sa isip ko.

"Thank you manong."sabi ko as I hand out my payment. I went to the info desk to confirm my arrival and get my room's key and I was assisted by the staff.

"Ma'am if you need assistance for anything regarding our service, we have the intercom inside your room. Have a nice stay." Sabi nung staff.

"Noted. Thanks." I replied. Hayy makakatulog na dn ng maayos finally. I washed myself up then changed into comfty clothes to head off to sleep. And as tired as I am, i easily drifted off.

"Yes Alfie." I chuckled.

"Stop calling me that. Aish." Iritadong sabi sakin ni alfred. Ayaw nya talaga na tinatawag ko syang Alfie. Nakakabawas daw ng pagkalalaki. Haha. Kahit naman yung isa dn naming bestfriend, Parker, I used to call him Parky before things got too complicated becaused I fell in love with him but he is in love with Casey, classmate namin nung college. But, that was too long ago for me . I moved on already kaso I lost contact with him. Ahh. Kukunin ko na lang kay Alfie, tutal kapitbahay sila. Actually, kaming tatlo at dun nga ako tutuloy sa bahay namin malapit sakanila. Pinalinis ko kasi yon kay bestfriend Alfie. haha!

"Okay. Whatever you want? May contact ka ba kay Parky?" I asked him.

"What's with your petnames, really? At bakit mo kinukuha? Move on na oy!" Natawa na lang ako sa sinasabi nito.

"FYI, matagal na kong nakamove on. Syempre, kelangan din namin ng renewal of friendship. Gusto mo kayo lang ang friends? Aba wag ka selfish oy. Hindi kiya bigyan ng dsicount sa kasal mo e." I joked.

"Mabuti na yung malinaw. I'll just inform him about your arrival."

"That's cool. Maybe the three of us can hang out like before." Sabi ko pa.

"Yeah, yeah whatever you want." Bored nyang sabi.

"Okay and before I forget, malinis na ba yung bahay ko?" Tanong ko.

"Pinalinis ko na po madam nung isang araw pa. Tsk."

"Good. Now come over here and help me with my baggages para makalipat na ko." Like a boss.

"Tsk. Bossy ka pa din. I'll just take a bath then I will text yoy pag papunta na ko. Bye."

"Okay tha-" what the? He hung up on me tapos magrereklamo to mamaya na hindi ako marunong magpasalamat. Tsk. Abnormal talaga.
