Think of the world around you
As a simple game of chess
And when you're stuck in a tough place
You simply try your best
Think of the world around you
As a sunny field full of friends
You never know who you'll meet
Around the riverbend
Think of the world around you
As a ball of rubber bands
And snip away the bonds
That tie your rubber hands
Think of the world around you
As a forest of fake plastic trees
Full of fake plastic people
Aside from you and me
Think of the world around you
As an ocean of opportunity
Where everything you say
Is considered genius, not lunacy
Think of the world around you
As a poetry book
Filled with beautiful words
If you simply stop and look
