I sang a song about lost love
And hid it in a tree
In this tree nested a dove
Who came and talked to me
She told me her story
Why she can no longer fly
It was a small bit gory
If you're wondering why
Once upon a time
She presented the king a song
But it didn't rhyme
So he told her it was wrong
She argued that there really
Isn't a such thing
This protest cost her dearly
The king ripped off her wings.
