I was sitting against the mirror in the studio later that same day. Clapton was in the bathroom, or exploring or something. Meanwhile the ever so lovely Whitney went to get us some food. I had the studio's laptop on my lap and I was scrolling through the play lists we had. I saw one I hadn't recognized and saw that it was from The Great Gatsby movie, it was called Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey. I figured Anna must've downloaded it, I clicked on it and it began playing slowly with a nice contemporary feel to it.

"I've seen the worldDone it all

Had my cake now

Diamonds, brilliant..."

I closed my eyes and restarted the song and stood up. I walked to the center of the floor and began dancing to the music. I started with a long roll of my body and pushed out my arms and pushed back slowly. I spun slowly using my foot to propel me. I lifted one foot  up and jumped with my arms held up. When I spun pushing myself around using my leg again I stopped facing the door. Clapton stood there. He walked over and I ran over to him and jumped on him. With my legs wrapped around his waist he spun me, I whipped my hair again. I dropped to my feet and he dipped me deeply. When I straightened up we stopped dancing.

"I think we found our contemporary dance song," I mumbled. He searched my face and nodded slowly.

A few minutes later I found myself showing him some contemporary dance step. I showed him how to do some more lifts, with lots more falling and laughing. I showed him how to leap gracefully and hold me steadily as I lifted one leg up. Throughout this little lesson I continuously picked up my notebook and jotted down moves and steps. When Whitney finally came back we had the first half of the dance finished.

It started with me in the center. I rolled my body in a tortured kind of way and stumbled over and then spun as Clapton stepped into view. Once I saw him the lyrics went "Hot summer nights, mid July

When you and I were forever wild," I would run over to him and leap up wrapping my legs around. He spun as I bent back. I jumped to my feet and he lowered my to the ground and stood over me, before I pushed him away and he rolled onto the floor. I rolled onto my knees and arched my back. He would grab me and pull me to my feet as the music slowed again. He lifted me above his head head like he did the other night. He set me down and I spun his arms and bent over raising my leg up. He held it up and straightened and that was about as far as we got. We just got past the first chorus.

"Holy shit!" Whitney shouted. I turned quickly. Clapton took a step away from me awkwardly.  "That was fucking awesome!" I rolled my eyes at her, she said that about every dance I performed.

"Thanks," I said taking a water bottle from her.  We sat in a triangle eating wraps from a small shop down the street. Once we were done Clapton and I began discussing dance forms again. We performed the dance from the beginning again and once we got to the place where we stopped I improvised. I pushed his hands away and did a couple of leaps while Clapton came towards me. He took me under the arms and spun me, this time he didn't throw me. Well, he did, but gracefully. I rolled twice before he scooped me up and we began spinning. He stopped and tossed my legs over one shoulder. I had no idea where he was going, but I followed. My legs wrapped around his torso and I let myself slide down to the floor. I laid down and rolled to my feet and I pushed at him and when he grabbed at me I spun away. He took me again and pulled me against his body. I lifted my feet into an eighty degree angle with my body before he launched me through the air. I landed on my feet and whirled towards him. He grabbed at me and did the move we had just done an hour or so ago, where my body landed poised on his thigh. That was when the song ended. He dropped me to the ground and went over to Whitney had been video taping us. I watched over the recording scribbling the moves down furiously.
