I woke up in my bed the next unsure of what had happened last night. I was confused when I found a pair of slender muscular arms wrapped around me. I turned my head and saw Clapton sleeping soundly behind me. I took a deep breath through my nose. He smelled of rain water. I shivered and took a quick peek down at my body, I was wearing clothes, thank Jesus. With that I shoved my elbow into Clapton's gut and he sucked in his breath letting me go. He rolled off the bed and I peered over the edge at him.
"You know, a simple 'Clapton, let me up', would've been fine," he said coughing. "And you have sharp elbows."
"That was for getting me drunk last night," I said. I looked at my clock, it was five minutes to six, thank goodness, time to get ready for school.
"You did that on your own, and before you ask, no, we did not have sex," he said with a grin. He lazily put his arms behind his head.
"Then why are you grinning like that?" I asked him. His grin only got bigger.
"Because we kissed," he said. I threw a pillow at him. It smacked him in the face.
"Do not lie to me Clapton!" I said. He laughed as he pushed the pillow away.
"I'm not lying, you kissed me," he said. "Want to hear some other stuff?"
"Ummmm," I said slowly. "I guess."
"I saw you without a shirt on," he said. My jaw dropped.
"Did you rape me or something?" I asked angrily. He shook his head.
"We came home and since you were soaked from the rain you took your shirt off," he said as if it were nothing. "Then you got dressed and asked me to stay, I wasn't going to say no."
"Aren't you a saint," I said stepping over him towards my door. He grabbed my hand and yanked me down. Somehow I managed to fall on top of him our chests colliding.
"I am a saint," he said. "I let you dance in the rain, like you wanted too."
"Even more saint like," I said sitting up straddling his waist. "Any more of this saintliness and you could be George Weasly."
"A Harry Potter reference?" he asked with a grin.
"You're the one who knew where it was from," I said. He rolled his eyes and pulled me back on top of his chest. "Clapton, we need to get ready for school, last day of finals, remember?"
"Yeah, then we have two days until graduation and I don't think I can handle that," he said in a low voice. He raised his head up so he could whisper in my ear. "I'd much rather spend the day like this."
I made a disgusted noise and got up. I moved away quickly before he could grab me again. I glared at him as I left the room making him laugh. I ran into Anna in the hall.
"Hey, Hill," she said. "You look sick, feeling ok?"
"Fine," I lied. The truth is I felt like I was going to throw up and my head was pounding, it must've been what a hangover felt like. I'm guessing it was a minor one since lights weren't that bright and sounds were that loud.
"Is Clapton in your room, I thought I heard him laughing," she said trying to see into my room. Thank God, he kept his mouth shut.
"No, that was my phone, I recorded him and set it as my alarm," I said. "Last day of finals, better go shower and stuff. I'll wake the monster when I'm out." I rushed into the bathroom and quickly removed my pajamas. I turned on the hot water and slid underneath it massaging my temples. I scrubbed my hair with my lavender vanilla shampoo and the same conditioner. I scrubbed my body with lilac body wash and shaved my legs before I got out of the shower. I wrapped my hair in a towel and my body before scooping up my clothes and walked across the hall to my room. I changed into a pair of short denim shorts and a dark blue tank top with worn denim vest over top. I blew my hair dry and braided it over one shoulder before placing a SnapBack on my head. I did my makeup the usual way and was about to slip on my boots when I realized how soaked they were. I sighed and slipped on my Converse. Clapton was waiting for me downstairs.
