I awoke from my bed and yawned. "Woo i start work todayyyyy!" I squealed, and in return getting a crying baby and a bang on the wall from the neighbor.
"Heheh sorry..." i got dressed in a dark pink tank top with blue leggings and jean shorts over them. And finally, the lab coat.
I ran out and hopped on my motorcycle, shoved on my helmet and started the engine.
Vroom vroom it said.
I rode off to the museum. Why didn't I have my motorcycle at the aquarium? You might ask. They don't accept motorcycles 'cause they block the walkway and they're small and cause car accidents in the large parking spaces.

Yep strict aquarium. By the way, did I mention it's called the Sward Fisk Aquarium? Weird name. And the museum is called Bonwale Museum? These names! Eh, who cares.
We're here!
I hopped out and went into the museum. I walked in the wet floor sign no longer there. They're lucky I didn't sue them. Dumb bastards... um, excuse my French.
I went to walk in the lab door but it wouldn't open. I kept pulling on it but it wouldnt open. Suddenly I heard a chuckle behind me. I looked behind me and saw Toddlin.
"Oh, hey Tod."
"Hey Lar! Pinka didn't give you a card to get in?"
"What? No."
"Well lucky I'm here. I'll help you!"
He walked up and slipped the card in the slot.
"Thanks Tod."
"no problemo! see you around o'!"
I smiled and waved as he walked off, his hands in his pockets.

I walked in the door, it abruptly closing.
Admittedly scaring the lives out of me.
I walked into Pinka's office. "Hey Larimar!"
I waved, saying, "So what's my assignment today?"
"Your assignment? Oh, yeah! You're going to be digging for anything you can find in Egypt with Tod, Benja, Mari, Aglo, Fus, Len, and Armi."
"Uh... who are Len, Armi, Mari, or Fus?"
"You haven't met them yet? Well, they're great, that's all I can say. Hey, maybe I can call down Benja to introduce you!"
I smiled. "Sure, I'd like that! Meeting new people is fun!"
"Okay, but before that here is your nametag, earphone, and your keycard. Okay, let me call him down. Benjamin. Please come down to the office for an assignment!" she held down the button on her earphone as she spoke.
"Okay, let me explain how to use the earphone. Hold down the button. See? Like this. Say someone's name, then speak. That simple!"
I heard the door open and knew who it was, so I smiled and said, "Hey Benja!"
"Hey Lar. So Pinka what did you need me to do?"
" i need you to introduce Lar to Armi, Fus, Len, and your sister."
"Got it Mrs. P.! Let's go Lar."
I got up, buttoned on the nametag put the card away, then followed him.
"Why do you keep calling me Lar?" I asked.
"It's a thing we do here at the museum. You always get a nickname. Like, I'm Benjamin, but everyone here calls me Benja?"
I shook my head, still a little confused.
Benja sighed and said, "Mari's real name is Marissa. Armi's real name is Armin. Fus's real name is Fushia, and Len's real name is Leonora. Now do you get it?"
"Oh! Yeah. I get. So anywho, who first?"
"How about my sister, Mari-slash-Marissa! She's very sweet."
We walked until we found her using a microscope.
"Hey Marissa!"
Mari had tree green hair, a flower crown of daisies, bright blue eyes, and a daisy dress. Pretty.
"Heya Ben! Who's this.... Is she your girlfriend?"
We both stiffened and blushed.
"N-no I'm just introducing her to the excavation crew for today."
"Cool. Im Marissa Melanie. You are?" "I'm Larimar."
"Larimar....?"
"Larimar that's all."
"Really, no last name?"
"It's Stunne."
"Oh. Everyone here introduces by their full name."
"And then gets called a shortened version of it for the rest of their time. Makes perfect sense."
Benja snickered and Mari laughed. "I like you."
"Well uh, we have to go. Um, bye Mari!"
"Bye bro!"

We walked off.
"Now time for Armin." He sounded a bit annoyed.
"So this Armin.... Do you have a problem with him? I mean, you call him by his full first name."
"A problem? I have a million problems with the guy!"
"Okay, name all of them." I challenged.
"Number one, he's rude. Number two, he's a man whore. Three, he broke Mari's heart-"
"Okay, I get it."
"We're here," said Benja, less than excited.
I looked up and saw him with Tod, looking at a Stegosaurus tail that broke in half with small bits of meteorite rock in it.
"Hey bozo. Who's the new girl?"
I looked up at the guy who was talking. He had a loose blonde pony tail with a bleached streak through it, regular glasses and a white head band around his forehead. Nothing to do with his hair.. What a weirdo.  Toddlin popped up. "Hey Lar!"
"Hi Todd!"
"You know her?" The random weirdo said in surprise.
"Yeah, that's Larimar Stunne. She's okay, dude." He said, going back to his work.
I crossed my arms at the word 'okay'.
"Hey gurrrrl~ " Mr. Weirdo Dude put his hand on my face.
Haha, NOPE.
I slapped him so hard he had a hand mark as red as a cherry on his cheek and fell to the floor.
"Woah Lar!!! You NEED to be a wrestler!"
I blew the bangs out of my face saucily and walked out arms crossed. "Bye Todd. See you at the scavage for artifacts." I stalked off with Benja. 
"Woah your strong! I've always wanted to do that! Thank you!" Benja obsessed.
"You're welcome. He deserved it. So who now?"
"One of my best friend, Len-slash-Leonora!"
"Cool."
"She's not to far from here." He promised. He turned out to be right, we saw her immediately, her reading a book. I looked at the book titled said 'THE AFTER WARS' ( your welcome raven. EDIT BY EDITOR: Thank you a thousand times.)
She was a pretty looking african american girl, with a white headband with daisies on it (like Mari) that held back her hair. Her eyes were drop-deas gorgeous, a light green like a meadow.
"Hey Len!"
"Hey Benji. Who's this?" She looked up from her book at me.
"This is Larimar Stunne. She's new and is going to Egypt with us."
"I'm looking forward to it sweetheart! I'm Leonora Ruez!" Len chirped. "Or Len, as known by you already, I'm sure.
"You know my name already."
"We have to take her to see Fushia! Bye Len!"
"Wait! Larimar, Lar, be careful around Fushia. She can be... a bit rude."

"Hurry up Larimar! Let's meet her!" "Woah why the rush?!"
"Uhh..." he had an undeniable blush.
"You like her," I jeered.
"Whatever. We're here.  And SHUT UP."
I kept my lips locked and threw away the key.
"H-hey Fushia. I need to introduce someone to you!"
"You mean her?"
She had Fushia hair (Larimar later: because you HAVE to live up to your name, so that makes me a rock), purple eye contacts, lots of makeup and a little black dress.
"She's hedious! She looks like a deceased pirate."
I saw red. She probably doesn't even know what deceased means, I thought.
Benja's face even went from flushed to pissed.
"Fushia, this is Larimar Stunne. Lar, this is Fushia Rays."

"Okay, we met her can we go now?" I asked snappishly.
"B-but we just got here-"
"I said can we go now before you test my ability to keep calm and not slap a bitch!?!?!?" I half shouted, attracting stares.

"Fine..."
I gabbed his arm and dragged him away from the slut.
"Bye my sweet!" Benja said helplessly.
Slutface Fushia just hummed and tapped away on her phone.
