Me and Cams mom were currently sitting in the waiting room to hear about Cameron. There was no talking and barley any moving. A doctor call Gina's name and she shot right out of her seat. They talked for a little bit and came and sat back down. "Thank you so much for looking after Cam while I wasn't there. The doctor said that its not a terrible injury, he just sprained and he is free to go at any time after 5:00." As soon as I heard that I an shocked to say that I was relieved. I didn't say anything back to her, we just got up and walked to his room. As we walked into his room, as soon as he looked at me I saw a little glimpse of happiness. But that was soon over when he notice that his mom was standing right in front of him.
"Oh, hey mom. How ya doin?" " I'm doing good, how are u feeling?" "A little sore but not too sore."
Cam's P.O.V
I was so shocked to see my mom, we haven't been talking for a few weeks and I don't even know how she found out about me being in the hospital. Stephanie probably told her. I'm not mad at her because she didn't know but i'm not happy that she did it. My mom just keeps staring at me and it's just getting a little weird. I wonder what she told Steph while I was gone. And how long have I been out. I have all these questions I want ask but I feel like everyone will get weirded out and start to ask me a bunch of questions.
Stephanie said she had to go and call her parents to tell them where she is and that it'll be a while till she get home, and not to wait up. When Steph left mom went to the bathroom at the same time and I decided to call Stephanie to tell what's going on with my mom and me. She didn't answer the phone so I'll just txt her.
Cam: hey we need to talk
Steph: why there's nothing to talk about
Cam: me and my mom don't talk anymore at least not as much as we used to
Steph: Oh well I didn't know im sorry do you want her out of your room?
Cam: I don't know right now it's been a while oh, wait she's coming back out of the bathroom I gtg but come back into the room so it's not as akward.
As she walked back out the bathroom and sat down Steph walked in at the same time. She gave me a appologetic look as she sat down. We were all just sitting there and saying nothing until my mom spoke up and said "So are you ready to leave this hell hole and come home with me again?" "Who said I was leaving with you?" "Well who else are you gonna go to, you have no one else who even cares about you?" she said to me with a devilish smirk on her face. What she said made me stop and think, besides my mom who else really cares about me. Maybe it's just best if I go home, I mean who else would I go to and I am deffenately not gonna sleep on the streets. Then something Steph said some words that proved all my thoughts wrong. "I care about him and he's going home with me so you can just making him feel like he's worthless, you bitch!" I looked at mom and she looked speechless. I was finally ready to get out of this place, I pressed that little button one the remote that said nurse so she could help me get up and checked out. As soon as we walked out of the hospital and got in the car my mom comes running twords the car and pounding on the window. Steph starts honking the horn like crazy signaling for her to stop but she just ignors it. The whole time she's pounding she's shouting words that I can't, and im glad that I can't hear cause I don't what to hear what she has to say. After a while she just keeps going so we just drive off with her chasing the car but obviously the car is way faster.
When we get Steph's house I am immediately put into the stage of shock. "Wow" "What? This is my house and my parents said you can stay here as long as you want." "Well thanks for doing all this but why would your parents let me stay here especially since im a boy?" "Well they trust me with everything, especially alone with a boy." She said with a smirk "Why would we be alone you live with you're parents right?" "ya but they travel for work so we won't see them much, so we have the house all to our selves." "Oh well okay but can you tell me where my bedroom is cause it's been a long day and im tired." "ya it should be upstairs, the second door on you're left." "okay thanks"
As I walk into the guest room I realize that I don't have any clothes to where and I probably won't an, any time soon... (considering as I don't have any money to spend or even have any money. Well since Steph is such a nice house and her parents clearly have money, maybe if I helped around the house and did stuff for her maybe she would offer to take me shopping. That probably won't work but it's at least worth a try. I mean I do need new clothes and everything so...maybe I can just ask for her to take me shopping. Ya I think ill just do that.
