Chapter 9: Just face it Im better

I walked into Jackson's bedroom and there he was sitting on the bed playing his phone. Zacks eyes glued to the tv just as he was sawing his opponent in half.

"Hey Zack what to play capture the flag because I bet you anything that I can win you." I said with a smirk and my arms crossed.

"No you can't Jackson can't even beat me at capture the flag what makes you think that you can. Plus your a girl and Jackson's a guy. And girls don't play this they think it's gross." He said still having his eyes glued to the tv.

"Ok let's make a bet." Rift as I said that he pause the games and looked over at me.

"Okay let's make one. If you win I give you fifty bucks and if I win you buy pizza for me Jackson and your wired friend." He said holding out his hand so I could shake it. Which I shook which silled the bet. That I was obviously going to win.

"Okay. Jackson would you like to watch this go down first hand or sit on your a$$ and play your phone?" I asked

"Yah Jackson." Zack piped in.

"Fine I'll put down my phone and watch you loss Jess." He said turning off his phone.

5 minuets later

"Boom!! In your face!" I yelled at Zack as he looked mad that he lost to a girl.

"How did you win I win every time. Jackson did you see that or is my mind playing tricks on me." Zack said getting even more mad as Jackson laughs harder and harder.

"Dude you just lost to a girl and a nerd." He said laughing hard.

Just then Allie walked in holding one of those cardboard cup things that held out drinks.

"Why is Zack mad and Jackson laughing his a$$ off and you smiling like you just won the lottery?" She said looking confused.

"I just beat Zack at gears of war capture the flag!" I said smiling

"Not surprised you beat everyone at that game. Except me of course." She said setting the drinks down and grabbed the controller from Zack and sat down.

"Hey Jess are you like a secret gamer or something?" Jackson said almost laughing.

"Don't call me Jess. That's not my name its Jessica. You call me that again I will break your fingers." I said gritting my teeth.

"Oh really you really think you could break my fingers." Jackson said wearing his usual smirk.

"I wouldn't test her one time she broke my arm because I ate her Oreos. Because they were in her special cupboard." Allie said

"Really you broke her arm for eating your Oreos?"Jackson raised his eye brows at me.

"Yah and plus you left out the part where you are all three packs of my Oreos after I told you I was going to brake your arm you were just testing me." I said informing them.

"Fine I was but you would think your best friend wouldn't break your arm over Oreos right. I guess not just don't call her Jess or it won't end good for you." Allie said

"Ok Allie let's see who is better and then Zack have my fifty bucks ready" I said picking up my controller.

~~~~10 minuets later

"Man that took you for ever Allie and plus you didn't even try I have seen you do way better." I said to Allie

"I'm just detracted. Jess can I talk to you in your room?" She asked

"Um yeah" I said picking up mine and allies didn't and bringing it into my room.

We got on my room and Allie sat on the edge of my bed.

"Hey Jess what was you going to tell me when you called you sounded annoyed when you were talking to me?"

"Oh I was going to tell you that I figured out who killed my parents and I was also going to tell you I live with Jackson now because his mom was a good friend of my mother before you know." I said looking down at the floor.

I felt tears on the edge of my eyes about to fall but I refused to let them fall.

Allie pulled me into a big hug and rubbed my back comforting like she did the day I figured out my gramma passed.

She let go after a few minuets but felt like seconds.

"Who was it Jess?" She looked me into the eyes.

I opened my mouth but nothing came out.

"Jess come on. Who was it? We have to get pay back." Allie said still looking me dead into the eye.

"It's was my dads brother. But he got arrested a month later and no one told me until I found my moms diary in my drawer and decided to open it. I also figured out that I have a twin brother but he was but up for adoption because twins were to hard for my mom to handle." I said letting every thing go because I couldn't hold it in anymore.

"Shhh every thing will be okay Jess we will find your twin. Just please promise me something?" Allie said

"And what would that be?" I asked

"Don't go after him unless your with me and always have a gun on you at all times just to keep you safe." I looked at her wanting to tell her I can't carry a gin around school."please for me Jess please?"

"Fine" I agreed.
