~Some Dreams Do Come True~

Chapter 1: The beginning

Ciara's P.O.V.

Well I don't even know how to start, shows how I'm such an awkward turtle. Um.....my name is Ciara Jacobs and well I have big dreams. I'm entering my last year of High School after this summer and I'm pretty scared. I'm 17 years old and well I don't see myself as the prettiest person in the world,not even where I live am I considered pretty. I have had this major crush on this boy since freshmen year his name is Tyler. He sat behind me in math class . I could never forget it I was basically melting in my chair. Summer had just started. Me and my best friend Danny were at the park swinging on the swings enjoying that one nice cool day of summer were it isn't too hot, but it isn't too cold either. I had my music blaring through my ears, I was singing at the top of my lungs, even if I wasn't the best singer in the world. I had opened my eyes periodically checking to see if their were any strange people coming to get us. Let's just say I regretted it right then and there. Tyler and his friend Dylan had walked into the park. Not paying attention and letting go of the swing I fall back and scream from my sudden action. It caught the attention of Danny which I was glad about, but it also caught Tyler's attention. He started walking towards me and I mentally face palmed myself. Immediately I picked myself back up and started walking away grabbing all my stuff pretending not to see him. Luckily I got away and I waited for Danny outside the gate. Eventually she came and we walked back to our houses together. I got home and took a long shower in deep thought. My phone started to ring and I quickly got out to answer the phone, it was my older brother Mason doing a three way call with my older sister Layla. He usually only did this when it was something important.
I quickly answered "Hello?"
"Ciara you finally answered, I have something very important to tell you and Layla!" Mason yelled into the phone
"Speak already Mason, Ciara is on the phone I only have so much time before my lunch break ends" Layla says clearly annoyed
"I'm coming home earlier than I thought, but I am paying for tickets for mom and dad to go away on a cruise without us, but I need a plan to get them here and on the cruise ship" My brother rushes out quickly
"I have no idea" Layla replies
"I just told you like two seconds ago Layla of course you have no idea" Says Mason with the same attitude as Layla
"I have an idea" I speak before it gets into a heated fight between my two siblings
"That's great! can you text me it?" Mason says happily
"Why?" I reply
"Class starts in 2 minutes and I still have to walk there, so yeah" Mason says in a rushed voice
" Well, um okay bye!" I say so he can hang up
I hear Layla say something, but don't pay attention because I hang up. My brother takes a lot of night classes at college and I think he is insane for that. It's only 8:15 pm and I'm exhausted. I quickly text my brother that I will text my plan to him tomorrow. Mostly because I don't even have one. I text Danny goodnight and quickly get a response back saying night. I call down the hallway and say goodnight to my parents. I'm not even sure if they heard me. I hear Layla park in the garage and see the light outside turn off. I turn off my alarm that I had set for school and plug in my phone. I start playing my music and soon enough fall into a deep sleep, not even noticing my mom and dad come in to say goodnight along with my sister.
