Chapter 2: Than this happened

Ciara's P.O.V

It's the next morning and I wake up in a rush to go to school . I was out the door and at my bus stop in 10 minutes. I waited outside for almost an hour, with no sign of a bus or anyone for that matter. I call Aria scared I had already missed the bus. I hear the ringing of the phone, after a couple beeps i hear "Hello?" It was the sound of Danny's  voice

"Danny are you at school already? Did I miss the bus? or am I just really early?" the questions rush out of my mouth quickly

"Ciara calm the fuck down! School is over for the summer have you forgotten?" She says while laughing hysterically through the phone

"Why are you laughing? this isn't funny" I say in a grumpy tone

"How long have you been standing there?" Danny asks questionably

I reply "Around an hour"

"Im sorry, but that is the dumbest thing ever and its hilarious" She says laughing all over again

By this time i should have figured out that Danny could see me from her bedroom window. I think that's what made it even more funny. I make my walk back home and see Tyler riding his skateboard. I mentally faint, mostly because i have never seen someone as cute and good looking as him ride a skateboard before. He goes down the hill and I was in the middle of day dreaming about our future with weddings and kids and pets and wow this list can go on for ages. When I get knocked down.I quickly put my right arm out to catch my fall and her a pop before I could react everything went black very quickly.

Later..........

I slowly open my eyes blinded by the sun, immediately i yell close the shade your killing me. Someone luckily was there in the room with me and closed the shade. I open one eye first and inspect my surroundings, I see a figure which i could barely make out with one eye so i open the other. I see my leg hanging in the air being held by some type of thing that hangs from the ceiling. I look to my left and I looked perfectly fine on the side. I than looked to my right and see a bright red cast that went from my hand to my elbow. I remember the figure i saw and look up. It was Tyler, wait it was Tyler i'm so confused now. He looks at me and starts to speak

"Ciara, can you hear me?" He asks me in a worried tone

"Um.... ye-ye-yes" I stutter out slowly

"I'm sorry that you are in here" He says quietly

"Wh-wha-what do you me-me-mean?" I ask my voice hoarse

"I'm the reason you are in here, I was riding my skateboard down the hill and i didn't see you I skateboarded into you and fell on top of you, you immediately closed your eyes and well here we are now" He said guilt spread across his face

Was i angry, i was. It wasn't toward Tyler or towards anyone basically just towards the way fate decided to play.

"It's okay Tyler i forgive you, but you don't have to stay here with me" I say cautiously

"I want to stay with you" He says his cheeks becoming bright red

I laugh and bite my bottom lip "okay your choice, but just know you can leave whenever"

"Okay, so um.. ar-ar-are we cool?" He stutters for the first time

"Yes, we are totally cool" I smile at him reassuringly

We continue to talk throughout the whole night. Danny came to visit as well as my family. My siblings made fun of me, but i didn't care for the first time. People left and came, my parents couldn't stay due to them having to work early the next morning. My siblings worked and had school as well so they couldn't stay either. Danny well she wasn't even allowed to stay at my house, so her sleepover at a hospital was out of the picture. The one person who stayed with me the entire time was Tyler, I appreciated but secretly felt guilty. I start getting tired and slow doze off. Very quietly and softly i hear Tyler's voice he whispered " Good night " he said than lightly tucked me into the blanket , and i felt my heart flutter. Sleep had finally come over my body and i was out like a light.
