Surprised? Well... So am I. I realized a lot of reader inserts don't bother with having the reader actually interacting and making friends with female characters... So I tried writing a chapter for Momoi. She's not exactly a member of the GoM... But she did still contribute to their wins in a way. ; U ;

Momoi Satsuki: Meeting I
In which you make your first friend at Teiko.

“I'm Momoi Satsuki! It's nice to meet you, (f/n)-chan!” The girl in front of you greets you with a smile. The first thing you notice is her attractive feminine figure— you're instantly jealous and her using your first name with the suffix “-chan” so casually didn't help either. You found it off-putting.
“N-Nice to meet you...” you try to say with the same enthusiasm as Momoi. You glance over to Murasakibara, who had brought you to the gymnasium. How did you let him talk you into this? How did you let him talk you into becoming the basketball team's temporary manager? Oh, right. He mentioned Akashi's name and you said yes before knowing what the situation was.
“Here's all the data for the next game,” Momoi says. “It's a bit much to remember, but you can always refer back to the notes.” She nods at the thick binders before handing one of them to you.
“It's alright,” you say, looking through the notes carefully, “I've got it.” The pages were each filled with detailed and unique information that was neatly handwritten. You could tell that Momoi, despite being only the club's manager, was really passionate about the sport. You began to feel bad for holding any sort of animosity for Momoi earlier before.
“Huh? Are you sure? It's a lot,” Momoi says, breaking you out of your train of thoughts. She gives you an unsure look.
“Yeah, memorization is my specialty,” you say proudly. Momoi didn't seem convince though. You close the binder, handing it back to her. “Alright,” you say, “I think I only looked through the data on the third string players. I’ll try my best to recite what I just read though.” You close your eyes, taking in a deep breath.
“Wait, are you serious?” Momoi was taken aback.
Your eyes fluttered open and the information flows from your brain and out of your mouth. You had begun to recite the information of the players from the third string that you had been assigned to. Height, weight, specialty, weakness, potential and the like— you covered each and every one of them without missing a detail. A sense of joy and pride washed over you as you watched the faces of both Momoi and onlookers’ change into awe. A smile spreads over your lips. You could see Momoi flipping through the pages of the binder to check the information recorded against your words. You exhaled, finishing your recitation with a smile.
“Well? How was that? Did I do well?”
“V-Very!” Momoi couldn’t believe what she had just witnessed. “You’re amazing, (f/n)-chan!” She takes your hands in excitement. “I can’t believe you were able to do all that in such a short period of time.”
You blushed at Momoi’s forwardness. Your ability had always been treated as something unique and special, but very few had ever reacted the way that Momoi was right now. It was a nice feeling, though unfamiliar to you.
“Gee, Momoi-san… You’re overreacting,” you said. “It’s not that big of a deal.”
“Satsuki.”
“Huh?”
“Since I call you (f/n)-chan, you can call me Satsuki.” Momoi smiles sweetly. “I can’t wait to start working with you,” she says, “It’s going to be so great having someone to help out— especially someone as amazing as you are.” She exaggerates.
“Like I said, it’s not that big of a deal… Besides, I doubt my so called amazing ability would help much in basketball.” You chuckled nervously. “Anyway, you’re pretty amazing yourself. I can’t believe you compiled all this data by yourself.” You glanced over to the binders again.
“Thanks!” She beams. You could tell that she was really getting into the conversation. “Teiko’s basketball club has a lot of members. I wanted to keep track of every single one of them in the best way possible.”
“That’s…” you began, “That’s sort of admirable. I’m glad I met you, Momoi-san.”
“SA-TSU-KI.” Momoi enunciated the syllables of her first name in a demanding tone.
“O-Oh! Whoops!” You laughed nervously. “Satsuki,” you said nervously. “I’m glad I met you,” you said again. This time with a smile.
“I’m glad to have met you too. Welcome to Teiko’s basketball club (f/n)-chan!”

Who should I write for the next chapter? Akashi? Midorima?
