Chapter 7

Megan POV

   The next days at school have been so awkward with Taylor and I, I try so hard not to let her I am upset. Keaton hasn't sent one text, nothing at all, normally he calls me if I don't answer his texts, it was strange and I haven't seen him, we always hang out. Robin told me after I left everyone left and Taylor went off with Keaton, I am not sure what they did, but I know she is going to tell me, that's why I have been ignoring her because I do not what to know what happen. Tomorrow I am supposed to go to San Diego with the boys for the radio show, and I am not sure how that is going to go since Keaton and I aren't talking.

    I was sitting outside during lunch just listening to music. Someone put their hands over my eyes. "Guess who?" I heard Tyler, I laughed. "Hey Ty" I said taking out my headphones. He sat next to me, "Where have you been haven't heard from you in days" he said, " It's only been one day, I've been around, I just needed time alone for a while" I said, it was true I needed time to think over things and talk with Keaton. "I've missed you girl" he said, I smiled at him, "Awe aren't you cute" I said, he hugged me, "Don't leave me again" he said joking around. "Oh my god Tyler" I said.

    "Megan where have you been" KyLee said, she and Taylor sat with us. "Around" I said, "Meg I needed you, I have like so much to tell you" Taylor said, and I knew exactly what she was going to tell me. "What's going on?" I ask, "Keaton and I have like been talking a lot and I think he really likes me I mean all day Sunday he was like texting me" Taylor said, my heart sunk into my stomach he was texting her all Sunday when we were together, I am like more than crushed I am pissed off. "Oh my god what was he saying?" I ask, I wanted to know what he was saying to her, I wasn't trying to look upset because she doesn't know what's going on with me and Keaton. "Well thanks to you of course, you talked to him and he was telling me how pretty I am and that he wants us to hang out more just us two" she said, she looked so happy, yet I was crushing inside. "Yeah, yes I talked to him that night we were at Robin place" I lied to her, can't believe I am lying to my best friend. "You are the best" she said, she hugged me. "It was nothing" I said, feeling guilty.

    "Are you still going to San Diego tomorrow?" KyLee ask, how can I go if Keaton and I aren't talking to each other. "Yeah I think I am still going" I said, "Are you sure you are okay Meg?" Tyler ask, "Yeah I am fine, I have to go" I said, I just stood walking away.

   After school, I just decided to walk home. "Hey Meg" I heard behind me I turn around I saw KyLee, Taylor and Tyler, I walked over to them. "Want a ride, Wes is coming by" KyLee said, I saw them pull in seeing Keaton in the front seat, "No I am good walking" I said, "Megan" Taylor said, I just ignore her walking away, I didn't want to speak to Keaton.

    "Megan wait up" Tyler said, "Hey, sorry about that I am just not feeling like myself" I said, "No worry about it, if you don't want to talk about it, it's cool but I am always here to listen" he said, "Thanks Ty" I said, "Mind if I walk home with you" he said, "I'd like the company" I said. Tyler and I haven't had like hung out like the two of us Keaton normally with us, but it was nice to be with him, he was making me laugh the whole walk home.

   "You want to go get some frozen yogurt?" Tyler ask me, "Sure why not" I said, we got inside seeing Troy was there with some girls and his friends, "We don't have to..."he said, "No it's fine" I cut him off. He looked at me grabbing the girl that was next to him, I just walk right past him getting some yogurt and going to sit outside.

  "I think he is trying to make you jealous" he said, "Why you say that?" I ask, "Did you see the why he grab that girl and he was looking at you" he said, "I really didn't notice that he was like staring me" I said, "What happen with you and him?" he ask, "He just got jealous of me hanging out with you guys and it got annoying to the point where I was done" I said, "Good, honest we didn't really like him" he said, "Why am I hearing this now" I laughed, everyone hated Troy and now they tell me.

 "You seemed happy and we like seeing you happy, I love the way you smile" he said, I smiled at him all dorky, "You mean that smile" I laughed. "Yes" he laughed, "So what's up with you and Keats you guys haven't been hanging out"

    "Well he been busy and all coming back home and I am just giving him some space" I made something up; I don't want to tell Tyler the truth. "Yeah he has been but not busy enough for Tay" he said, "What?'' I ask, "Yesterday I came over to chill with him and he was out with Taylor" he said, I wanted to scream so bad, what the hell is going on. "Wow that's crazy I guess" I said, "Yeah I guess" he said. We walked off he walked me home; I got inside texting Robin to come over.

      I was in my room, trying to do homework but heck I couldn't do it, I have so much on my mind right now. Robin walked in, "Talk to me baby" Robin said sitting on my bed. "How you heard anything from Keaton" I said, "Only that him and Taylor have been like talking a lot" she said, "That's what she told me" I said, "Have you even spoken to him?" she ask, "Nope I never text him back Sunday night, and I figure he would call but no, nothing" I said, "Okay let’s set this straight you tell him you love him and he said it back and then at dinner he all up on Taylor business" she said, "Oh and I found out that he was texting Taylor the whole time when we were together" I said. Her mouth dropped. "You are kidding me right? What the fuck is going on with him" she said, "I am wondering also, like what the hell is going on with him" I said, "And Taylor still has no clue that you love him" she said, "Nope I can't tell her she thinks I talked to Keaton for her and she got all happy" I said, “I am just saying ignoring him is getting nowhere, you have to talk to him" she said.

   Robin was right, I need to talk to him and fast before tomorrow. "I will see if he wants to come over and talk" I said.

Message to Keaton: Keaton, I need to talk with you, come over around 6? Please it’s important.

     Hopefully he answers me. "Everything going to be okay, you guys will settled this before San Diego tomorrow" she said, "Exactly, are you coming to" I said, "Sadly no I have to work" she said, "Damn it" I said. He wasn't answering I was freaking out just a bit, he normally answer me quickly. 20 minutes went by still nothing. "He not busy" she said, "How do you know?' I ask, "I ask Drew where he is, he is sitting on his ass playing video games" she said, I grab my phone seeing that Keaton read my text he ignore it.

    "He read it, he read it." I said, "Oh my, Meg" she said, "Forget it, I am not going tomorrow" I said, "Don't let him to this to you honey, don't let him bring you down" she said, "What else can I do Robin, I have done nothing wrong to him" I said basically in tears, she hugged me. "I don't like seeing you this hurt, I just hope he read it and just knows that he going to come over" she said, "I hope you are right" I said, "I got to get going, no more tears love" she said, "Thanks Robin" I said, she left.

   What is going on, I am too confused right now to understand this. I hope Robin is right that he is just going to come over and we can talk and just work this all out. I don't like feeling this way I hate it so much.

     I waited in my room when it was 6, I waited for 2 hours and still nothing, he didn't come, he ignore me, I couldn't believe this, I wanted to call him but I just couldn't do it, I would start to cry. Now I am not sure if I even want to go tomorrow it would just be so damn awkward.
