Golden looked down at Trap, surprised. Trap pulled away and looked into Golden's eyes. Golden felt something well up in his chest, a feeling he hadn't felt in years. Golden quickly wrapped his arms around Trap. After a few minutes, Golden let go of Trap and ran into the office. Trap followed and stopped at the doorway.
"I know how to prove that you're Spring." Golden smiled and grabbed one of the tablets. He set the tablet down and ran over to Trap. "Do you have a memory chip?"
"I...Well yeah, of course." Trap replied. He put his hand to the back of his head. He pulled something out of it's place and handed it to Golden. "Here."
"Thank you!" Golden ran back over to the tablet and inserted the chip into the tablet. "Please work, please work, please work." The tablet screen flashed and went to a black screen. Golden watched as the tabled went from static, to a screen that showed someone else's point of view. The memory was from over 20 years ago. The point of view was Spring's. The screen glitched a lot and Golden saw a shadow like figure, moving around from place to place. The Diner was closed for the night and Spring was alone on the stage. There was a faint light in the left hall. The video went out. It glitched back on to show the remains of the Diner after the fire. The screen was blurry. There was a quiet voice that spoke.
"Hey Fredbear...I-I'm sorry I couldn't make it out alive. But hey! We had a good run, didn't we? I-I hope this will be saved to my memory chip so you can hear this. I-I know I never told you this," He stopped to take a deep breath, "I never told you how much I really loved you," He coughed and the screen started fading, "I-I love you more than words can describe. I wish you could have heard me say this...But...hopefully you'll look for my body and take my memory chip...maybe..." Spring's voice had gotten quiet. There was a quiet click and the screen went black. Tears formed in Golden's eyes.
Trap was focused on the screen. he had said those words. He couldn't believe that he was once Spring Bonnie. He couldn't believe that he was standing by his lover once again after so many years. Golden set the tablet down and took out the memory chip. He handed it to Trap, who quickly put it back in. He glitched slightly. Golden stood up and looked down at Trap and smiled. He quickly hugged Trap and laughed quietly. Tears of joy formed in his eyes. He had found his lover. After all these years. Those years felt like a bad dream now.
