Chapter 14

***CHRIS P.O.V*** 

When I woke up the next morning I saw Shawn sleeping on sofa. He looked really restless he kept tossing and turning. I can only imagine how hard he's taking this, Lex is my sister and he's taking it harder than me. I went into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast because he needs to keep his strength up.

While the bacon was on the grill I went to wake Jàquan, he was sleeping in the guest room. I woke him up and told him to get dressed. When I walked back into the kitchen I saw Shawn turning of the grill."I know I said I liked my food slightly over cooked but not burt" 

"I know I just went to wake up JJ so after we eat we can start looking" He looked at me and sighed after I said that 

"Last night when I was looking for her I discovered something intresting" 

"Like what" I asked raising an eyebrow 

"I think the kidnapper might be your mom" 

"WHAT" 

"There was this note when I found your dads body and" 

"YOU FOUND MY DADS BODY" I interupted yelling 

"Yeah, im sorry I found him dead at the house and" 

"So my dad is dead and it could be my mom who killed him and kidnapped Lexus" I said trying to calm down. 

"Yeah" 

"Well then I guess this just got personal!"

I cant believe my poor excuse of a mother did this. Why was she doing this?

After she put us through hell when we were younger and now she wants to do this! Leaving us at home nearly all the time by ourselves, sometimes I spent weeks at my aunt's cause she would come home very late and forget to feed us. My dad would have done more but he had just came out of prison and its hard to get a job with a criminal record. He told us that when he got enough money he would take us somewhere nice to live and now he was gone.

"Im gonna find that psycho bitch and kill her!" I vowed putting my coat on and my air forces. "Wait, let me come with you I love Lex to" Shawn said 

"What, were yall gone leave me?" JJ qustioned standing at the door. 

"Come on then"
