Chapter 8

Jakobs P.O.V

She's so cute when she's sleeping aw I could wake up to her everyday.. Wait am I falling for her? It's 9:30am and bella is slowly waking up "morning beautiful" I say as she slowly gets up "morning Jakey" oh she calls me Jakey now. "Breakfast will be ready in 10 or we can go out for breakfast" it's her choice I'll pay for her if she chooses to go out "Um let's go out for breakfast there is a really nice breakfast place down the road I love it there, my dad used to take me there all the time" used? What happened with her dad? I go into her brothers room and change while she changes into her clothes

Bellas P.O.V
I choose to go out for breakfast because well it's always better then eating at home and is better then cereal and milk. I go into my wardrobe and look for something to wear, it's pretty warm so I'll look for someone summer type, uh I got it! I look through my clothes and put on a pair of black shorts, a purple singlet and my Nike shoes. I put my make up on and put my hair in a high ponytail. I grab my wallet and meet Jakob downstairs and we leave for breakfast.

*breakfast shop*
"Hi what can I get you two today?" The waiter ask "um I'll have the bacon and egg muffin with orange juice please" I say and Jakob says "I'll have the bacon, egg and cheese roll with a coffee please" ew how can he have coffee it's gross, "sure won't be to long" the waiter says and then walks away.

"Tell me about your family" Jakob ask well I never really told him about my family "well my mum is a business women she only works day shifts, my dad is a lawyer so his always at work and I barely see him anymore, my older brother is a tradie and lives with his girlfriend, my younger sister is 14 and such an annoying person and my younger brother is 10 and his less annoying" I think I told him everything my family is pretty boring. "Tell me about your family" Jakob looks at me and says "well my dad is the boss of my uncles company, my mum is a stay at home mum and my sister Mikaila is 19 and she's an amazing artist she basically taught me everything I know about music" wow he seems close with his family. After talking for abit our food comes and we eat it while talking about our lives.

"Okay so that's $16.85 please" the cashier says and Jakob pulls out a $20 note but I quickly stop him and say "I can pay for myself" Jakob looked at me and said "no I'm paying its my shout" I knew i wouldn't win this so I let him pay. We decided to walk around for abit and talk "so tell me about your soccer" Jakob says really Jakob soccer "I've been playing for 12 almost 13 years, I play for NSW and Australia, my uncle is a coach for a soccer team in a-league so he helps me train and yeah, tell me about yours" I don't know why he'd ask about soccer but anyway "well I played for 8 years for southern districts but I stopped when I joined in stereo because I knew being in a band I won't have enough time for soccer so I stopped" he looks kinda upset but I understand I would be to if I had to stop.

On the way back my phone started ringing and I see that Ethan is calling me.

Ethan- Bella??
Me- yes Ethan?
Ethan- are you busy?
Me- um I'm with Jakob at the moment why?
Ethan- we need to talk.
Me- is everything ok?
Ethan- um yeah I just need to talk to you about something
Me- ok well I'll come over at 5?
Ethan- ok sure, please don't bring Jakob
Me- um ok see you soon bye
Ethan- bye

"What was that about?" Jakob asked "honestly I have no idea, he said he needs to talk but I can bring you" "oh that's fine what time are you going?" "5" I said so we decided to go back to mine and watch some movies until 4:30 and it's only 11:30am. The first movie we watch is Daddy's home and man that's funny! And the last one we watch is the notebook, after the movies finished it was 4:25 so we were both getting ready to go, as we do Jakob stops and says "I had a great time with you today we should hang out more" I nodded and said "me too and yes we should, thanks for paying" as I said that we were looking into each other's eyes and then we kissed. Yep I like Jakob and to be honest I hope we likes me, i would date him but I don't think he likes me. "Bye bella" Jakob said cutting off my thoughts "bye Jake" I say as we split to go our own ways.

*Ethans house*
"Ethan I'm here" I say walking in since the door was opened "over here in the kitchen" he says so I close the door and walk over to him. What can this be about? "Sit down" Ethan says ok now he is scaring me "Ethan what's wrong?" I say nervously "bella.. I um I think...." I cut him off by saying "just say it" he looks right at my eyes and says " bella I like you." Oh no please no this can't be true. I laugh and says "Ethan don't be silly" he went quite and said "I'm saying the truth bella, I didn't think I did but after my birthday party i knew liked you" what do I do now? I like Jakob but I can't tell Ethan that it will hurt him! I wonder if Jakob knows this. "Ethan you are my bestfriend basically my brother you can like your own family" I say hoping he changes his mind "well basically we aren't related so it doesn't matter"

Do I tell him I don't like him? Do I tell him I only see him as a brother? "Ethan you know you are my bestfriend, my brother, my other half it would be weird dating because we are so close, I think it's better not to like each other because if we date and break up I will lose you and I don't want to lose you again" I say as easy as I can "I guess you're right" he said.

We spent time just playing wii sports and watching she's the man, Ethan knows I love that movie so that's why he was watching it and because I forced him to. It's now 9:30 and my mum came to pick me up from Ethans and as soon I get home and shower I see Jakob texted me.

Jakob- everything ok with Ethan?
Me- yeah his fine
Jakob- what did he talk to you about?
Me- I'm not sure if I should tell you. Maybe ask him yourself
Jakob- okay
Me- sorry Jake but I'm tired I'm going to sleep and thanks again for today xx
Jakob- no worries darl have a good sleep x

Jakobs P.O.V

I really want to know what Ethan had to talk to bella about so I decided to call him

Me- hello
Ethan- hey Jakob
Me- how you going
Ethan- yeah good you
Me- yeah pretty good
Ethan- did you have a nice breakfast with bella
Me- yeah it was nice I got to know her more
Ethan- oh that's good! She's a nice girl
Me- yeah she is. Why did you have to talk to her
Ethan- umm
Me- Ethan it's ok you can tell me
Ethan- I told her I like her
Me- oh
Ethan- look Jakob I'm sorry mums calling I got to go bye
Me- bye

He likes her. She probably likes him back, no they can't be a couple she can't be with him she needs to be with me. I know I have only known her for a few weeks but she's my type and I have fallen in love with her, I mean we have kissed like 3 times plus a hook up and it felt amazing. She needs to be with me not him, isn't her a brother to her?

My thought get cut off when Mikaila comes and says "night Jake" i say night back and go to sleep.
