Hayden was in and out of consciousness for two weeks, during those few moments of conciousness Adrianna would often be by his side, just staring not thinking just staring blankly at her baby lying there in that hospital bed looking so washed out and sunken in. But in the moments of unconsciousness, Hayden felt the most peaceful he had ever felt. All was well in the world where he was, mother wasn't around to torment his dreams and his brothers and Adrianna were safe. He was in complete and utter bliss.
Adrianna often wouldn't let Mathias and Alex see Hayden due to how dreadful he looked, but the two were very persistent on seeing their brother despite Hayden requesting no visitors. "What are you doi-" Hayden wheezed out gasping for air "Doing here?" He asked Mathias and Alex while taking a deep breath in,
"We wanted to see how you were doing, and if you needed anything" Alex said
"I don't fucking need anything oka-" Hayden wheezed "Okay, I don't want you guys here this is traumatic for Mathis" Hayden said as he gestured to the both of them to leave.
